Ahh I see, didn't know you had done all of that. I rescind my earlier statement then sir and apologize for doubting you. I know what you mean to, I want to install a turbo kit in my kia along with aftermarket racing springs/shocks, a new exhaust, new rims, K&N air filter, front strut, new rear sway bar, and some other cosmetic mods. I think the total work I want done would cost around 10-12k which seems ridiculous to put into an optima, but I would enjoy pulling up to lights and giving much more "performance" minded cars quite a shock on the take-off. Would really prefer a supercharger to the turbo but they have yet to release a kit for my car.

its ok..lol.. it happens i wouldnt believe me either...also look into a racing seat belt kit for drivers side,,,,tint your windows and remove the other seats for less weight..mine was still intact for i drove my wife/now exwife everywhere...it was still fun to mash up had a friend with a 351 cleveland in an astro van...funny as hell to see that thing streak off..jaw dropping funny

(if you wonder how it fit...rear mount behind the drives seat with short drive train and custom heat shields...fun fun..it was only for show..had nothing else that could be used for.. no room)

Haha that's pretty awesome, I imagine that was tons of fun. And for the time being this Optima is may daily driver so I wouldn't be able to remove seats or any major weight reduction as I have to drive people around for work a lot. I do eventually want to do all of that and turn it into a track car though, just think it would be fun.

I don't typically like being "that guy" but i'm going to be "that guy".
1. a 164 mph ticket would land you in jail... they don't have crunchyroll in jail.
2. ramjet is an airplane part not a car part. you are probably thinking of a ram air intake which is a non turbo car part.
3. the 350z never came with a turbo. maybe you are thinking of a 300zx but they only came with turbos in japan ( and australia/ europe maybe)
4. a ticket for going 160 ish (which is reckless driving), would be more like $500-1000. I know i have been charged with reckless before

Anyways i drive a Bmw E36 325i with a m3 converted motor and an upgraded suspension setup.

Nice Transformers plate. And, eh, it doesn't need a bath that badly. Builds character.

2006 Mustang GT. White w/ Tan ragtop. bought new and completely paid for. It was made at the end of an assembly line run, so it has some interesting add-ons such as a Cobra chassis and wheels.

Still runs great, but gas is expensive for a V8. I'm putting $40 in it twice a day when I have a heavy commute day.

Looking for a second car that is really good on gas. Have it narrowed down to either a Prius v (compact), or one of those squirty little Fiat 500s. Took a test drive in the Fiat and it was kind of fun. Easy to maneuver and find parking (fits in small spots). Surprisingly roomy inside for such a dinky little car. Problem is the accelerator pedal. I've become too accustomed to the V8 response when I step on it. More my problem than the car I suppose...

2011 Subaru WRX sedan. Got it 2 years ago brand new and it has currently 15k miles. Gas is expensive when you get 17 mpg street and 23 mpg highway.
