lemstry 3105 cr points Send Message: 15 / M Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 3/20/13 My wish is a new, long lasting, unique, shounen anime that will rack up the charts in popularity and manga sells because watching the same big time animes like naruto, one piece, etc. over and over does get quite boring after a while. and then when a great anime comes out, it only has like 12-25 episode coughBlue Exorcist. PS-not saying I dont like Naruto or the other big time animes, just saying I want a refresher new "big time" anime that everyone would love like Naruto.

I also want the same thing for Shoujo anime I want shoujos to have long running episodes just like in the past! (like shonen does now)

The closest thing I've found is "Bodacious Space Pirates", but they didn't take it as seriously as I would have wanted. Someone might recommend "Legend of the Galactic Heroes" but the art style is just too old for my taste. That's why I added "modern". As a general idea, i'm thinking of something like an anime version of "EVE Online", but not so heavy on the economics and more character driven. Perhaps I didn't describe it well, but that's my one anime wish.

Thanks for the recommendation, but it's not quite what i'm looking for. It doesn't seem epic enough, plus there seems to be too much of a focus on ground combat rather than my ideal of ship combat. Dude it's like you're in my mind!! That's my biggest anime wish. I agree about Blue Exorcist and I also thought others like Beelzebub (almost arghh!), Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan or even Medaka Box might be the '' chosen ones'' but nowadays they prefer recycling these harem anime every season
