Worst Anime Ending?

Should have put *SPOILER WARNING* in title like last one
.
(a mod can change that if they would like)
I'm sure I'll get lots of hate for these:

Ef: wins by landslide, girls life was improving, got pregnant, stopped getting raped by that loser.
BAM some stupid girl ruins it and she dies in her place. And the time skip also sucked. Because of the ending, it has the 2nd worst rating on my VN list.

And some others:
Madoka: Well should be obvious right? Madoka dies(well spends all enternity stopping all the witchs)
So Homura-chan's efforts went to waste and couldn't stop Walpurgis night and only she can remember her etc.
BUT
IF they do make a new season, it can change OR in the new movie coming out.

Angel Beats: Well first of all, all the people disappeared, and school-graduation is espeially more heartbreaking for me, anyway You tell Angel you fell in love with her and bam she disappears? That was horrible.....
Actually saw these 2 in the "best anime ending's" so I posted those 2.

There was also Blue drops, I did NOT watch it but looked up the ending, basically anything with death/time skip is bad.

I don't get how Madoka's death/noble sacrifice thing makes it a bad ending.

I genuinely like Guilty Crown and I liked the ending. There is a certain poignant sense of loss, immediate and real, right at the very end that stays with you. Not to say it isn't sad but I didn't feel cheated by it.

Now, Ef a Tale of Melodies ripped my soul out. Yuko is one of my favorite female anime characters ever. You get the impression that something bad was going to happen but at least for me, I was hoping for a deus ex machina moment...which never came. I want to go back and watch both Memories and Melodies again since I enjoyed them so much but that moment always leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

Out of all the anime that I have watched, Air has the worst ending of any show by far. I was literally in a daze for several days after watching it. My God, talk about depressing. It is the only anime that I own that I have never watched more than once. I can still remember manically searching the net for impressions of the ending to see if they matched mine.

I would also like to put in there the ending to Spice and Wolf. One of my favorite shows ever and it basically just abruptly ends after episode 12 of season 2. Hell, even the ending to season 2 just seems rushed. I have taken to reading the light novels but it just doesn't have the panache that the show possesses. I still get bitter just thinking about it.

Lol the really ending in the last chapter of the light novel is atrocious, so prepare yourself. I heard a spoiler and its bad so bad I take away what I said "I want a third season of Spice and Wolf.

Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom. Made me want to throw my computer across the room that such awesome characters came to such an anticlimactic conclusion (IMO). That's one where I just pretend it ended differently.

Anything that doesn't have an actual ending, but just abruptly cuts off, especially when things are just getting good, such as:
Pumpkin Scissors
Legend of the Legendary Heroes
Deadman Wonderland (although it had already gotten good and I guess it could be argued that they attempted to give it somewhat of an ending/left it open for a 2nd season?)

ETA:

Anything where the ending makes it seem as if the entire thing was pointless, like if they take pity on the bad guys and let them just go on about their business after causing so much havoc/death, such as:

And in general, I don't think Skip Beat or Vampire Knight ended well in terms of resolving much of anything. I know the manga's still ongoing for both, maybe they didn't want to write an ending for the anime that would deviate so greatly from the manga, so I get the reasoning. Still doesn't make them end well, though.

I don't know if it's the worst, but Claymore definitely deserves the award for the most disappointing ending. The first 24 episodes are excellent and extremely well paced (worst sidekick in history notwithstanding) and then in the last two (which feature some great fight scenes) they somehow managed to create an ending that despite being rushed still ended up with no closure whatsoever.

For how much I loved Claymore as an anime I cannot begin to elucidate how much disdain I have for the way the series ended. Prior to the ending it seemed poised to be one of my favorite animes ever, instead I haven't watched it since.

edit: And I really hate anime Raki, just felt the need to mention that again. He's like Fate/Stay Night's Shirou if he cried a lot and was useless. He does get better in the manga to the point I actually kind of liked him but in the anime he's more or less the equivalent of a damsel in distress.

Soul Eater's ending was horrific. Not just because it was extremely stupid but it left out copious amounts of information, character development and left us with TONS of loose ends.
Not to mention it cut off right before the bulk BlackStar and Crona's development when they actually become amazing characters (well in Crona's case even more amazing).
