Oh god, it depends on how much time I have. I use to sit in Barnes and Noble for hours and read. I could easily read 10 books if they had 5-10 chapters each.

Let me think. Well there was Gunslinger Girl and I read Vols 1-10 in one sitting. 58 Chapters all together.

Do you think it depends on how good the story is that keep you reading or do you just keep reading regardless on how good the story is?

I usually just keep reading regardless of how good the story is. Now, in the case of Gunslinger Girl, that was a very good story and the only reason I didn't read Vols 11-15 along with the other 10 was because I hadn't received my copies of them in the mail. I own every single volume of Gunslinger Girl in omnibus format (2-3 Vols per omnibus) except for the 15th which I believe will be released in June under the title Gunslinger Girl: Finale. As long as I get to read it, I'm happy. Doesn't matter to me all that much (although it certainly helps) if the story is good or not, I just like to appreciate the work the author(s) did to bring whatever they made to life.

I would like to say I learned to appreciate the work no matter how bad (as long as they tried, right?) after picking up writing myself (I do fan-fiction, short stories, etc.) in my free-time, but then again I think I've always appreciated the work people create and share with others. It's not limited to just manga.

I was the same with Claymore after watching the anime I really wanted to read the manga by that time there were already 15 volumes out but when I went to buy them there only vol. 1-11 in the store the rest I got online but read those first 11 in one sitting.

I also tend to keep read regardless on how good the story is but I read slower when the story is not very good so I end up reading less than when the story is good.

It all depends on what I'm reading and my mood. Some days (like today) I really wanted to finish re-reading Kodocha, so I read about 3 1/2 volumes to finish it off. But then there are other days, I can't even finish one volume or chapter. Generally though I can read 1-2 books.

I find myself not having a lot of time, and I take a long time to look at the artwork and re-read stuff, so usually it's just 1-2 volumes at a time. If I'm really busy then it might just be a chapter a day. The most I read in one night was the first 8 volumes of Loveless. The sleep sacrifice was worth it.

I read Bitter Virgin in one sitting.
I can't read during the day so I can only read so much and it also depends on how much I am into the series.

Me too!! That story was so captivating. I kept waiting for it to be released (in the US)...but sadly, it was not to be. I don't like reading scan sites...but....another one I read in one sitting was Shinigami Lovers.

I usually read all my vols when they arrive, usually in one sitting......I usually get between 7-10 vols a month. Depends on release dates, I am currently reading 14 different series ..sometimes I get more than 10 if I want to try something new or pick up an older title. For example this month I decided to try Demon Love Spell so that made this month 9 vols of manga. If I had more money and time I would order more.
