Short success or long success. It's an easy choice.

If something is currently successful, you want it to stay that way for as long as possible. You don't want to end it. Good or not. People are still enjoying it as seen by its rankings.

No, they're waiting for development.

Can you honestly say that the manga at its current state is as good as it was in the beginning? Because the manga in the beginning and the one now are completly different. So you either like both mangas (it might as well have been to different mangas) or aren't aware how much have changed. Look at all the examples i came up with. You can't find that later on in the manga, it doesn't have those kind of moments.

You don think the part where Raku helps Chitoge reconnect with her mother as memorable? Well then.

And of course the beginning of the manga has a different tone. Characters are still in he process of being introduced and established. One they've hit a point of familiarity with the characters behavior, they can only do so much to advance the plot without ending it prematurely.

Chapter 59-62, aah. The only memorable moment later on i the series is when the series doesn't act like a harem and focuses solely on Raku and Chitoge. Shocker. with the same tone as the beginning as well. Hmm.

What i'm telling you is that the series is so good as in 59-62 when it does what it did in the beginning, Chapter 59-62 is not representable for the last part of the manga, but it is the best part. And that is what i want. Give me 59-62 everyday and i won't complain. The authors probably have moments like that saved for later parts of the manga, so that people keeps reading. But if you take the good moments so far add them up with the ones saved up, remove the rest (not all of course), and you will a hard hitting and memorable manga series.

Why kill the cash cow? Because you've made a memorable series and have built up a good reputation. Now make a new series and people will come back because of what you've delievered before.

Entirely subjective on what you find memorable. I found Marika's arc where she discusses her past as memorable. I find the moments where Tsugumi experiences inner conflict with her feelings and her devotion to Chitoge as memorable. I found Shu's arc memorable. It doesn't have to always involve the main couple to be more memorable. You're still stuck on the fact that you want this to be more of a shoujo with focus on one and only one pair and no other variables in that equation.

The character interactions not involving the main couple build more on the character, even if you think they are just "filler" and not important to the overall plot.

And you know that one series' success does not guarantee the success of the next. You can list examples if you want of it happening but that doesn't change the fact that it is never a 100% guarantee. The audience is fickle and you cannot always depend on them.

Let's not call it memorable then, lets call it development. Chapter 59-62 was development. Shuu arch, though a nice arch, it didn't go anywhere. It stopped and had no affect for the manga later on (if i remember correctly). It's like the series is stating something with a smaller story without it affecting the main story (hopefully you get what i'm trying to say here..).

Of course one series' success does not guarantee the success of the next, but this is series is being dragged out deliebretly because it's a cash cow. And money is the worst motivation to produce good content. Chapter 94 is a good example, a filler. Nothing new. At all. Building character? No, it's reapeating what's already been told. It's the same situation between Raku and Haru as earlier but in another setting. And chapter 94 is not alone in that category.

The creators of this series is better than chapter 94, and they know that as well. I think they should use their potential every chapter. And that potential is not used in Nisekoi. Put it in to Nisekoi, or kill the cow start with a blank piece of paper and show what you can do. I just want good quality content, chapter 94 is not good content, it's a waste of their talent.

Chapter 95

LOL, that new girl Mikage has a weird obsession with the concept of "balls". I'll assume this is going to be a mini arc involving her and Raku. Inb4 she kisses him before she leaves.

I thought she was the 4th girl at first but then I was like ''yeah I don't think so, not with that personality.''

Like everyone, I freaked out of the thought of another girl. That was scary!

She's already an awesome character, I want her to stay!

Marika's past is hilariously awesome and Mikage's character design vaguely reminds me of Chitanda from Hyouka

Chapter 96
All of have to say about this chapter is that I love the page that the following image is cropped from
Other than that, I hope to find out what "about that?" is

Tsugumi's face when she grabbed her breast. Epic!

Can't wait for next chapter. New details on why Marika is so sketchy!

I think it's more likely that she knows that Marika has the book with Raku's revised ending in it.
