I really think that the manga is loosing some momentum, I hope there is something big in store next week. It seems to me that the story shines when it doesn't stray too far away from the core triangle.

As i've been catching up I think the pages were saying something about an Anime announcement somewhere around like chapter 70-80. But I still agree with the others about it probably ending shortly after the play. Which I think was in the like 50's or 60's?

i wonder if the anime would follow the manga all the way i mean, there was a lot of fillers, wonder if they will skip some stuff

I'm almost positive they will skip some stuff. I'm a new reader in manga and have already noticed differences between the Manga and their Anime counterparts.

I agree, though I was alright with Tsugumi, i think was her name... being in. But I don't really care for the overbearing Tachibana.

I'm only on like chapter 90 or 92 but...

I haven't been caught up with the manga but I'm gonna get caught up, and I've been eagerly awaiting the release of the anime.
Can't wait ^.^

Cute chapter but I wonder if chapter 100 will be filler. I hope not.

Yuki Kaji is one of the few VA's I actually recognize, he has some other great roles too.

Alibaba from Magi, Yoto Yokodera from Hentai Prince, Issei from Highschool DxD, and Lyon from Fairy Tail. Just to name a few.

I will certainly be somewhat upset if Chapter 100 is filler. We've had, what? Two filler chapters in a row? While cute, they've left me looking forward to more plot development.

Yeah i've noticed a lot of people only recognize his role as Eren. Which, obviously to the whole AoT series, is a bit more serious (at least of what I watched of the series). But a lot of his roles has been that of... well a pervert.

It's going to be interesting seeing him still as Shuu. Who is, in a certain way, a typical teenage guy, Not hugely perverted... but not completely innocent of it either.

VA for Chitoge is a newer heavyweight in Nao Toyama. Best known for Kanon from TWGOK, Chiho in Hataraku Maou-sama, and Yui Yuigahama from Yahari Love SNAFU
VA for Raku best known for Soul from Soul Eater, and Banagher Links from Gundam Unicorn.
VA for Onodera is the perennial HanaKana whom needs no introduction :)
VA for Ruri is Kirishima from the currently airing Arpeggio, and Momiji from Binbougami ga! as well as another glasses girl, Nagi from A Channel.

I'm curious what SHAFT-isms will be introduced to the adaptation. As we all know how they love their head tilts And I'm surprised none of the print volumes will be out in English until 2014. Although it seems you could get Vols 1-3 in ebook format last year already. Odd.

Just ordered Vol8 to get current on Nisekoi, then find out Vol9 came out 5 days later doh...

I wish I could read in Japanese so I could have print versions now, I still much prefer a book in my hand than my tablet, though I can still lose hours reading on my tablet.

Not to mention to catch up on this series I had to read using a less than reputable source...

As for SHAFT-isms I never pay attention to which studio is directing which series, much like I don't really know VA's other than Shuu's VA Yuki. So I guess I can't really answer that... though i'm expecting some flashy kicks, knees to the face, and punches into walls.

Most of the time the studio doesn't really stand out, but SHAFT has a very unique directorial style. Or rather, their main director Shinbo does. He did Sayonara Zetsubo-sensei, for example. As well as Madoka Magica and Bakemonogatari. They're known for "head tilts" and lots of quick interstitial scene changes with text, odd backgrounds and architecture, etc.

I do read a decent amount of raw manga, but mostly I buy them to support the author. A direct sale gets them the best royalty, and only home market sales affect keeping them publishing the series in the magazine. Overseas sales are a drop in the bucket and aren't part of their calculus. (They're also cheaper than buying English volumes)

I see... I never really did get into any of those series... i'm hoping it doesn't go some random crazy look/route... after reading the series I found it to be like a regular slice of life story just with some shonen aspects from... say some of the like being kicked/punched around... which i'm alright with. But if they make it look too crazy... ehh dunno.

Guess we'll have to see. XD
