I still personally can't wait for this series to get its Anime, finally finished the manga to the current, though I did start to lost slight interest when it they added more and more girls, particularly don't like that Marika.

I loved the forced relationship to make peace between to factions part, especially now that they are sort of starting to fall for one another. Though it's still in quite a deep denial part of liking someone.

I was fine withChitoge, Onodera, and heck even Tsugumi. Just not so much that Marika... or even Onoderas sister but she isn't as bad...

And i'm even fine with the whole pendant plot (though I think there is way to many girls involved now personally... and isn't there room for even more to get involved, assuming tsugumi or onoderas sister doesnt have a pendant??).

Just feels like it's going no where anytime soon. Lol. Of course I guess they could be doing that now that they know they have an Anime coming out they could be trying to... flesh it out I guess? To keep it going for more stuff later on.

Nisekoi is all about the filler these days.

I thought it was cute chapter and I detect, again, a hint of budding romance between Shuu and Ruri. Yes, I too would like to see the main plot advanced, but I am still enjoying these chapters. I suspect things will pick up once the anime starts rolling.

Don't get me wrong, I am still enjoying these chapters. However, I feel that the mangaka is trying to prolong the inevitable. A resolution to the locket plot can only be put off for so long.

I'm also fine with the filler in this series, doesn't feel as bad as say Naruto at least. But I agree it feels like it is only delaying the inevitable key fits a locket part of the story. Might just be me but I feel once someone finally does use their key to unlock it it will just be the beginning. I feel like they could easily go beyond that to flesh out more/another story.

I don't mind the filler. The main arc would be very short without some filler. The story progressed a lot before their second year, I'm sure it'll get back to that sooner than later.

I don't like this Filler to Main story 2:1 ratio, it needs to be flipped around!

Nisekoi ch 103 is out.
And its a filler chapter yet again
hopefully the main story will pick up soon because even though the fillers are fun, its getting a bit annoying

I'm not familiar with the author's name, but I honestly feel like he doesn't know how to pace himself. I am beginning to feel like this story could end at anytime, which essentially means that anything he does outside of progressing whatever little main story is left, is going to feel like filler.

People need to take a note from Oda of One Piece, he is the master of pacing. He has kept up writing that mange for close to 16 years now, and no single chapter feels really boring.

What ya gotta do is do arcs. Break up your story into manageable plot elements, and give each of those plot elements their own small journey. It is a bit harder to do with Romance series, but Ichigo 100% pulled it off, so I think Nisekoi could too. What's even better about an arc is, that with an arc, each chapter leads into the next, so the reader always wants more while feeling like they've gotten something.

On one hand I feel like yes it could easily end quickly, like in a couple of chapters if the author goes down that route, but at the same time if I remember the story from earlier about the whole pendant thing, there is still quite a bit just from that to be fleshed out, following that whose key actually opens the pendant, then after that is assuming Raku wants to actually be with said keyholder. Also while probably feeling like filler to some the author could easily start pumping out some arcs/chapters of all of them growing their relationships up some, going on dates, doing stuff together, etc etc.

I would almost be fine with a Harem ending... but with the pendant plot that leads down to the inevitable single girl wins story... given with the current cast only "harem" i'd be fine with is Chitoge and Onodera ..
