Volume two in Print edition releases I believe in March, though if you want digital, I believe they are up to like... volume 5 or 6.

I just read the one shot of Nisekoi. After reading that, and the way this manga seems to flow, I just can't help but feel that the author really likes Chitoge. It almost feels like Onodera and the other characters were heavily inspired by pressure from an editor or something. At this point I would be really surprised at anything but a Chitoge ending.

For anyone who would bring up Ichigo 100% as a counter argument well :

For me Chitoge and Onodera felt like they were planned, even Tsugumi felt planned. But Marika, Paula, and Onodera's sister all felt added in or forced. Of course that could easily be because I don't really care for Marika, Paula seemed to be just thrown in to give a little backstory/allowing Tsugumi to show up more, and Onodera's sister just kind of showed up after like 60 chapters and barely has a presence.

As for Chitoge ending though... well that for me is still up to debate, it really matters how much more Chitoge and Raku grow to accept each other rather than flat out hate each other. Also there is Raku and Onoderas unspoken feelings towards each other. Marika obviously won't give up, but does have the health issues. Then there are the other girls as well.

So my votes go for either Chitoge ending (since I like her the most) or an open ended/Harem ending. I just hope if it is the latter he at least chooses them rather than being like "I can't choose, so i'm just staying single" sort of thing. I'm fine with it being all of them though.

Lastly: I wouldn't expect us to get any closure/answer until school is over and Chitoge and Raku fake relationship is allowed to end by their Fathers command. Since they are only a little ways into their 2nd year if I remember correctly we probably have awhile before anything.

Ohohohoho this chapter can lead to a bunch of whole new development. Needs more Tsugumi though
At least we got a color page of her

I really enjoyed it.

Obviously the two main of mains would be more developed. One can suspect with success comes extending the series with extra characters and I agree Marika definitely feels like a bonus with how show is presented. I still think her addition has let a bit more surprises to come (and will come). I'd prefer if they were more developed, but it is better than just having 100 chapters based only on the 2 main females.

That sounds like a possibility, Maybe the anime adaptation will take a different path than the manga. Who knows?

Totally off topic, but one of the most interesting mangaka interviews I have read was the interview with Lily Hoshino about the anime adaptation of Otome Youkai Zakuro. She said that she was extreemly relieved when she saw the final episode of the anime, since it was done independently of the manga resolution for that part of the story. She had been living in fear that the anime would have the same ending she had written for that arc and people would think that her manga had been influenced by the anime, since it was known that she hadn't finished the arc when the anime was in production.

Back on topic: That is why I don't think any anime only ending of Nisekoi would influence the manga. The mangaka would probably be afraid of seeming to be copying, which is really frowned upon in the manga world, you know. (Influence is fine, but using other people's stories wholesale is not. Of course, it is much worse if you are using other peoples images wholesale... Just ask the mangaka who wrote Prism...)

In other news, and against my bank accounts better judgement, I bought this series digitally. I dunno why, but I am in love with this series pretty much, so since they were up to like 6 digitally I bought em. But since I still love the feel of a book in my hands... I will probably still buy the print version as they release.
