^ Same here, Madoka Magika
Also Clannad, thought it was going to be some cheesy forgettable high school romance

^ Agree on Clannad. I always heard so much hype about it. I started watching it, saw the animation style and thought: "this is going to be a loooonngggggg ride" (this was my first time ever viewing anything based on a Key visual novel. So, yes, I definitely regret having those thoughts to this day). But boy was I wrong. One of the most heart-wrenching anime I've watched so far. It's definitely special.

It was the first show to every make me cry

I've watched through the whole show at least 4 times now
Can't wait to start Little Busters, I'm bit scared of it though after having seen Clannad and Angel Beats...

4 times?!?! Haha I've only been through it once. I don't know if I could go through that emotional punishment again. Kudos to you for being so strong lol. And same here! I've been waiting on Little Buster's to be completed before I start watching it. I want to marathon it straight through without having to wait for episodes to come out and then have a week of emotional recovery (which I know I will need).

Kokoro Connect is the only one that comes to mind. I don't often watch shows if I have very low expectations of it.

What's it called in Norway? Because here I consistently see it titled as Baka and Test.

Baka is the japanese word for idiot.
Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, the japanese title.
"To" = And.
The Idiot, the Tests, and the Summoned Creatures,

In norwegian the title woould be "Idioten og testene og innkalte skapninger". But people will of course just call it by it's japanese title, "Baka to Test" or "BakaTest".

Get used to seeing it as "Baka and Test" from US sources at least. Funimation lists it as "Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts -" and the English Language cover art I've seen says "Baka & Test" (with the Summon the Beasts below it as a subtitle). So it's not too surprising that we'll be referring to it as "Baka and Test" as that seems to be part of its official title over here.

Most recently, Steins;Gate. I was liking it well enough to keep watching it, but had decided I simply wasn't going to love it or think it was pretty great. And then it got wonderful, both in terms of plot and character/relationship-building.

unko- san

polar bear cafe

bottom biting bugs

arakawa under the bridge

space brothers

samurai pizza cats

I've came to stick to these kinds of anime to avoid normal themes of romance and action

Bleach! I didn't really think too much of the anime. A few friends told me I should watch it, but I thought nothing of it. Anyway, a few years ago I got a little curious and probably watched a quarter of the first episode before closing it. It looked boring to me. Last year I decided to give it another chance, and before I knew it I was hooked. I watched all the episodes in about 2 months.

Big Windup
I saw it at Big Lots (of all places) for $5 and thought why not. I ended up loving it! and watch it over again a lot. Just wish the rest had been released but I guess the sales weren't good enough, too bad.

Ergo Proxy
I thought it really wasn't my type of anime and put off buying it but then it was on sale and so I took a chance and it really was very good. And for me it has rewatch power. I hate to buy an anime I won't watch again that happens too sometimes tho.
