Ahaha, at first I wasn't so sure about Gintama.
But now... PSH, I'm obsessed, it's not even healthy >3<
I'm REALLY glad I gave it a chance, it seriously has everything and anything an anime needs :3

Same with xxxholic~ <3

What's it called in Norway? Because here I consistently see it titled as Baka and Test.

Baka is the japanese word for idiot.
Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, the japanese title.
"To" = And.
The Idiot, the Tests, and the Summoned Creatures,

In norwegian the title woould be "Idioten og testene og innkalte skapninger". But people will of course just call it by it's japanese title, "Baka to Test" or "BakaTest".

The official English title is Baka and Test.

I actually put off watching Ouran High School Host Club on Netflix because I was not sure if I would like it due to the description and cover they had up for it. Now I love it cause I took the chance and watched it.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica I thought it would be your ordinary magical girl anime. Boy, was I wrong...
Toradora Just completed it yesterday :3 Better than I had expected
Kuruko no Basket I'm not a sports person, so I was like: meh. But then I ended up crashing into KnB fandoms...and so I gave it a shot. I didn't care about the basketball. The bishies and comedy sold it to me :3

and others I don't feel like putting :p

Kingdom. Crappy 3D animation at the start was a put off. But the writing, the voice acting was all amazing. In the end, Wang Ji (Oh-Ki) was the most unforgettable character in anime 2012.

I saw it at Big Lots (of all places) for $5 and thought why not. I ended up loving it! and watch it over again a lot. Just wish the rest had been released but I guess the sales weren't good enough, too bad.
Same. Didn't expect to like it since I'd never seen a sports anime, but it's one of my favourites now.

Thats how I felt too, I mean I love to go to baseball games but an anime? Now I give sports anime a chance and I find I really do like most of them.

The World God Only Knows. - I like romantic comedies a lot, but I guess the idea of the whole thing just sounded a bit silly to me. But since it was a romantic comedy and it seemed to have gotten pretty good reviews, I figured I'd give it a shot!

...Jellyfish Princess... I kept skipping over it because the cover for it made it look lame...I finally caved in because it was about my first favorite sea animal... Jellyfish!... So when I finally watched it, I fell in love instantly with the characters because they are wacko weirdos like me.
