Do you know what Toonami needs...

...A magical girl show. I mean think about it, they got most to the popular shonen series, some classics, even a harem series on there. Now all we need is a magical girl series and everything will come full circle. But the question is which one? While the first two shows that come to mind are Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura seeing how they were both in Toonami's original broadcast, but there's two problems with that. One, no one has the anime rights to the both of them anymore (yes both of the original mangas have been released recently, but no word on the anime series yet). And two, let's be fair, both of the shows original English release are flawed and not true to the original source material. So even before they can be on Toonami, both shows need a new english dub and unfortunately they cost money. Although Sailor Moon has a higher chance seeing that the 2013 version is coming soon, but I really want Cardcaptor Sakura to have a new English release, and if the dub cast is the same as the Second Cardcaptor Sakura movie I would love to see that.
So those are my two choices, what other magical girl show that would be perfect for Toonami...why am I getting the feeling that Madoka Magica is going to dominate this list?

They should show Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, or Is This A Zombie?

I didn't know that Toonami still existed. My life revolved around coming home from school every day to watch anime on there 14 years ago. I know that somewhere down the line as original CN programming got more popular it got relegated to Saturday nights or something. But I didn't know that was still going on

Toonami needs to bring back old shows like Outlaw Star, Yu Yu Hakusho, and some Gundam.

Half newer shows the other half old school.

And motivational speeches....like every 3 months or so.

This pretty much. When CR posted that ratings info about the Evangelion movie I saw that they were still airing episodes of cowboy bebop and Inuyasha. Don't get me wrong, those are 2 great shows, but I remember watching them 10 years ago on Toonami.

They really don't have any new content?

A more balanced anime diet is always welcome!

Puella MMM (although I haven't gotten into it myself) seems like it would probably bring in the most people, based on the fandom it seems to have.

My personal vote would be for Is This A Zombie? since I feel it has some good comedy to it and a quality english dub.

But what Toonami really needs? Personally? I think they need an On Demand outlet/partner to some degree or another. Crunchyroll, The Anime Network, and Funimation all have on demand access. An example in the other direction would be Neon Alley. The "channel" type layout seems like a step backwards for an app on consoles (in general I think, but especially in the app format), as cool as it may be to see an all anime channel (and with dubs!). In a post-TiVo world, it's a let down.

I kind of dream that Neon Alley and Toonami would team up somehow and realize that more diverse offerings (new and old titles, different genres, on demand availability) would likely make a difference. Then they could run their most popular titles in the Toonami t.v. slot. (But I believe Neon Alley is owned by Viz? Doubt they would play anyone else's licenses if that is the case)

Toonami needs Blue Exorcist dub or any new show that gets a dub

i wouldn't mind to see any of the old shows like outlaw star or yu yu hakusho but i just think that they need something new not something that almost everyone has seen

it would be cool if Madoka Magica was on toonami but i don't see that happening any time soon

I know that they won't show any slice of life animes, so I'm going to say Steins;Gate. I had a dream that Steins;Gate was going to be on Toonami and I think it will one day come true... It's a funimation anime and toonami has been showing some funimation anime... (soul eater, samurai 7, deadman wonderland)...

for toonami, it'd have to be something like soul eater, gundam 00, or kore wa zombie desu ka. something like nanoha, madoka, and steins;gate are more Adult Swim territory.
