It needs Gundam Unicorn.

They made a dub of it, so they can just use that.

There is a web TV channel that broadcasts Toonami stuff from the late 90's/early aughts at http://www.toonamiaftermath.com/ that is pretty cool - they also stream MST3K and Rifftrax movies on weekends, and it's pretty fun to watch them with the community in the chatroom they have. http://www.toonamiaftermath.com/

Edit: Also they air the Daft Punk video Nightlotus88 mentioned above every weekend, that's a lot of fun too.

But what about ice cream bars, hmmm? Toonami could use some of those.

While having a Maho Shojo anime on Toonami would be good, what Toonami needs is to be moved out of the super - late - night - saturday - only timeslot and moved into, IDK, a prime time weekday(s) timeslot. I mean, do we really need all those reruns of Family Guy and Tom and Jerry? Most of CN's popular stuff only airs new episodes on Mondays, anyway.

As everybody's shouting Toonami's since the introduction of this thread picked up Soul Eater, Sword Art Online....and um, that's what they're showing.

They need to secure a little earlier time slot too, as they're showing young shounen shows at a late-adult oriented time slot.

If they manage a slightly earlier time, in the 8's until 4'am's, they could easily but it's current line up there with great success. They need to stop with the IGPX and Eureka 7 already, great shows that have been playing since Junior High,, sure it has 50 episodes, but I saw it running nearly 9 years ago, ENOUGH ALREADY. Inuyasha is on so late we don't care, Cowboy Bebop and Big O are awesome and show at the latest time slot, thus insuring those who want to watch old reruns here get the chance, it's solid.

If they keep that late time slow, they need to make room for shows like Fate/Zero or any Fate franchise in general, ANYTHING Production I.G. like Guilty Crown, Attack on Titan, Magi, Blue Exorcist.

AND to land the ending, replace Eureka 7 with a newer Mecha. Valrave the Liberator is just Gundam Seed 2.0, which itself was Mobile Suit Gundam 2.0, which you could say Valrave the Liberator is Gundam v15.05....

Anything from Sunrise really, this include all Gundams, all Geass, all Valrave...ANYTHING MECHA IS SUNRISE, which is also Bandai but...meh.

ODD NEWS EVERYONE, IGPX is an anime produce with Cartoon Network AND Production I.G......which I find unique. Just throw anything Stuido IG mades on Toonami, problem solved.

Toonami barely came back, so I would give it a little more time before it gets an earlier time slot. But on the other hand, lately it's been taking over Twitter every night it's on. ToonamiNews is a fansite and on Twitter they promote the hell out of Toonami and it's really working. Toonami and it's all it's shows trend everyone night US and Worldwide.

here's a link: https://twitter.com/ToonamiNews

So I could also see it getting an earlier time slot. I mean, it's only going to be less family guy and american dad so I don't think anyone will complain.

And I'm telling you, Gurren Lagann is mecha show that Toonami needs

Tiger and Bunny would be a perfect fit for Toonami. I am a bit surprised they haven't tried to get it yet. Probably when something else ends they should make a move for it. When Toonami came back I thought SAO would be a good fit for a slot in its bloc, too, and it ended up happening as well. :/

Indeed, I feel they're going to move the time slot back a little.

I disagree on Inuyasha going, as it's so late it doesn't matter, and it STILL has those views. Everybodys seen Cowboy Bebop tons of times already, same with Eureka 7. Oh god the classics there! I was so ready to see Eureka 7 way back when, I went crazy when I realized that you could actually view an episode I missed on Youtube in 3 parts.

Oh god those episode endings, "To be Continued" EVERY DAMN WEEK.

Then they skipped a week to show some kinda Robot Chicken marathon right before the final episode and I WENT CRAZY.

Back to focus however, I've seen it, I no longer ever want to see it on TV again. Moving one hour earlier should greatly increase Sword Art Online and Soul Eater views, as Bleach and Naruto are just at the latest time thusly they're winning still, but I don't think the same episodes I watched back in 7th Grade are still popular for Naruto fans.

Seriously, 7th Grade, I'm nearly done with College now, and they're still at the same episodes, what the hell.

Samurai Champloo, Yu Yu Hakusho....no more of them. I've seen'em, same with Code Geass, Cased Closed, Trigun, Lupin the 3rd....seen'em all on Toonami. Paranoia Agent as well, SEEN IT, NEW THINGS.

No more, bring in the new. Gurren Lagann would never fail on TV, while Neon Genesis is too old to succeed, it's also really plot heavy so you'd have to watch early to watch it late, unlike Gurren Lagann's manliness.

New Gundams would be hard to sell to some, but they WILL find the Niche.

The World God only knows would work just fine at a later time slot I'd believe.

Baccano and Panty and Stocking would be perfect, but I already own them and they're fairly short. Like, you're not getting long running out of those two, so it's unlikely.
