I would ask him why he quit his day job. This anime was a waste of time after episode 15.

Is Kirito going to encounter his worst devastating time where he might think he's completely useless in the following novels, aside from the case where he couldn't find Asuna or trapped in SAO. Eg: Kirito may have problems or courage to log in after experiencing a traumatic incident in an online world. (Well, it's just my imagination)

Thanks.

Reki Kawahara has done an interview about SAO. [I posted the links in the spoiler] It answers three or so of the asked questions.

I would like to point out that you really shouldn't ask him about S2, because he only writes the stories and not produce anime.
Reki Kawahare writes only in Japan, the novels are translated to other languages by fans and what-not. He doesn't do it.
@the person who asked about chapter 16.5 It is a sex scene It is not appropriate to animate such scene.

Man I'm probably going to get flamed

Hence the word "licensed". I mean, the author himself should know if it's going to be licensed or not right?

Reki Kawahara:

Why did you decide to end the last episode with Kirito and his sister instead of Kirito and Asuna? It gave me the impression that he loved Sugu the way she loved him...Not as a brother or cousin.

Reki Kawahara - What are your feelings/thoughts on the subject of the Sword Art Online anime being considered by many as a gateway anime for a new generation of anime fans?

Aoi Eir - You were discovered through the Nico Nico Douga website - how did it feel to go from sharing your videos on Nico to being a signed artist and even contributing songs to popular animes such as Fate/Zero, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, and Sword Art Online?

Haruna Luna - You've contributed songs to popular animes such as Fate/Zero and Sword Art Online - is there any anime that you wish you could contribute a song for?

Ayumi Fujimura - You've voiced many characters in numerous animes - what character(s) did you enjoy voicing the most?

Toshihiro Kawamoto - Studio Bones is responsible for giving the anime world numerous amazing masterpieces - what does Studio Bones have planned for the future?

Reki Kawahara - 1. If you were given the chance to improve/modify Sword Art Online, what part and or character would you change?
2. How will the love triangle be solved? Or is that going to be revealed in Gun Gale Online?
3. Will there ever be a backstory to Kirigaya's past? Maybe in a Sword Art Online special?

Toshihiro Kawamoto - 1. As a huge fan of Darker Than Black, do you ever plan on continuing Gaiden and will there ever be a movie for this anime? Like what you did for Full Metal Alchemist?

My Question is for Reki Kawahara:

What was your inspiration for this great universe your have made, your seed if you will?
And how has Anime and movies like Inception, the Matrix, Brainstorm, Tron, .Hack, Megazone 23, Wolf's Rain and other shows about realities and alternate consciousnesses shape your view to create this story and how has it changed your storytelling or do your stories stay within their own ecosystem?

Toshihiro Kawamoto, thank you for not cutting corners in the animation like .Hack did. Your fight scenes where inspired and fluid! Your slice of life scenes, pacing, and interaction was wonderful even in the short time we had.
And my Last Question: What where your inspirations for those fight scenes!

Question to Reki Kawahara

-- What gave you the inspiration for the main antagonist in the second saga?

-- Why did you make it to where every female character that Kirito would meet and spend time with over the course of the episode seem to fall in love with him?

What was the point of introducing new female characters that fall for Kirito when in the end he is already dedicated to Asuna? Why isn't there more male characters that aren't lame compared to Kirito?

Reki Kawahara:

How did you get introduced into writing light novels?
How about anime and manga?
How did you feel when you first got the offer for SAO to become an anime and manga?
Is there anything you've done during any part of the SAO creation that you regret?

To everyone:

Where does your insprations and motivation come from?
