I have no idea what my 18th birthday will be like, hopefully it will be uneventful.

I will definitely not be prepared to move out by then, and I already behave more maturely than people older than me, except when I get angry.

I have noticed this, the content of your posts as well as your vocabulary has lead me to often think you are really 45 and just masquerading as a 14 year old.

I'm an adult now? Wat.

My 18th birthday was uneventful. I spent it with a friend. I don't really remember much of it.
My family had already moved to a different state when I turned 18, so I was already out of the house and renting.
I've been pretty mature for my age for a while now, but at the same time I'm quite the kid at heart.

When I turned 18 I got a letter in the mail.
This letter changed my life.. It was like magic.
God damn it. I hate paying rent.

If I remember right I went and bought a pack of cigarettes (I smoked at the time, don't smoke kids), and did nothing else. Some friends tried to get me to go do something, but I am the boring type that would rather stay in as going out seems to be a chore 99% of the time. Did the same when I turned 21 I refused to go to a bar. Since I turned 21 I have been to the bar once, a sports bar, which my friend dragged me to. Much to his dismay I walked in with a comic book.

I’m intimidatingly intelligent and I’m probably going to take over the world some day, therefore I'm scary.

My 18 birthday was ''now you are 18 and you live alone'' It's been almost 6 years now. Not that cool living alone but had no choice then. This grass is no greener that those who live with a home.

I'm not 18 yet, but this year, I am going to turn 18. ^^ I think it won't be all big when I'm 18. It'll seem the same more like. I don't think I'll feel any older unless I'm like in my 20's. I'll just be considered an adult and have more opportunities opened to me. c:

I thought being 18 would be an awesome change. (not really)

For some reason I thought alcohol would be like, an amazing, delicious thing, and was greatly anticipating drinking it. I have been bitterly disappointed.

18 - the age of cigarettes, alcohol and porn.

The first two aren't really worth it, and the last one isn't particular interesting in 3D. (Now 2D...)

My 18th was 10 years ago. I can't remember it at all either. Not because I was intoxicated or anything, but it was simply so unmemorable that i cant recall what I did. I joined the military when i was 19 and even so i don't feel like I had truly grown up until just a few years ago. Then again, in ways I'm still immature at times so perhaps I'm not as grownup as I thought.

Being able to drink at 21 doesn't make you an adult either. If anything many people tend to regress to a teenage state of mind once they can legally drink. What makes you an adult, in my opinion, isn't your age but how much discipline and self control one has. That's what most often separates a child from an adult from what I've seen.

Congrats on leveling up.

When I was eighteen I was a n00b.

You're in NJ? Wow, you gotta be like a billionaire to own real estate there. Don't move out unless you really are...

All I can really remember is the awesome food my family made me. Oh, and someone gave me a 3DS. So much for the adult treatment, huh? I loved it though hehehe Anyway, I don't think anything's changed. I had a taste of living alone at 16. I think my mental age during that time was already 18. These days it's like I'm going through a mid-life crisis. -_-

I turned eighteen during my freshman year of college. Haha. I still remember being the only one who had to raise her hand when the teacher asked if anyone was younger than eighteen. Hmm...what I did on that day...I think I went home and had a nice, quiet celebration with with my friends and family. Being eighteen wasn't really a big deal for me other than the fact that I was now considered an adult. I'm eagerly waiting my 21st birthday though.

I'm 18 and soon I will be 19 but I don't feel like an adult. My 18th birthday was like any other birthday. I don't mind it in fact I liked that was simple and not too extraordinary.
