I'd probably just ignore the psycho that called me. If it was some body I knew, I'd either take it as a joke or report it to the police. Depending on how the person came across, I might take up carrying a weapon around.

Also, I'd go with ignore because I have no reason to believe anything the person says, and thus don't think there will be long-term consequences.

I would choose: D) in 10 years
Many things could happen, I could be dead or far away in another place. =D

And where are the answers?? like what does it mean if you choose A, B, C or D?

Could be that my answer means that I always leave everything to the last minute? I'm a huge procrastinator either way

I'd take a bunch of painkillers.

A, B, C or D or not at all....it does not matter.

Also, if waiting 10 years is okay, I don't see the point in doing it since there are obviously no big short term effects. I'd probably choose A, just give me a few days to get the drugs and use them.

B) in 2 weeks

C) in 3 months

D) in 10 years

Which would you choose and why?

I would choose (A) because it would bother me till I got it over with.

*******I had to do this as a project for school once********

Extremely painful? Hell yeah there will be consequences. It'll either mess you up mentally or physiologically.

I'll take UNKNOWN CONSEQUENCES PLEASE!

What if the unknown consequences would be 10 extremely painful minutes of electric shock.

I'd do it right away.

Good practice for SERE school where we get fake interrogation and torture.

Thinking through this logically. If I am going to be electrocuted anyway, why would I delay it and live in dread for the day to come. If I get it done right away, I won't have to worry about it anymore.

A couple days would be my ideal wait period. I'd want to go in sooner rather than later, but right away simply isn't an option because I hate nothing more than having stupid work dumped on me all of a sudden. I'd probably have other stuff I need/want to do that day, so I'd want to schedule it for a day where I didn't have plans already set.

So, if it's an option, I'd wait about a week. If this is purely multiple choice with no other options possible, I'd go with Two weeks.

Or the person can CLAIM there will be a shock at any time, which may or may not happen. The paranoia for the rest of your life would be punishment enough for avoiding the initial 'treatment' or whatever it is.

Or maybe the 10 minutes of very painful shock are randomly distributed throughout the remainder of your life. Their total time would be 10 minutes. 5 seconds can occur while you are driving, 2 seconds when you try to sleep for an important interview, 10 seconds during that interview, etc.

I'd do it right away. Who knows? You might have to be electrocuted for a different purpose in 10 years and I wouldn't want my commitments to stack up on one another.
