We all have Anime that we love and watch over and over and own the box set and maybe even a few of those really expensive pvc figurines. I think that we also have anime that, even though it was perhaps the most excellent work we have seen, we will never watch again, maybe. Heres my picks they are favorites, I highly recomend that you watch them once and never again, maybe.
School Days(ok I did watch it again)
Saikano
Air
Another
Elfin Lied
Like I said, these were great in my opinion, but I will never go on that ride again, maybe.

I second Clannad and Clannad Afterstory, I'm also never putting myself through the traumatic experience that is School Days. After watching 5 cm per second, I was sure I wouldn't be sitting though it again, but have since rewatched it at least three times!

School days - Disgusted me
Clannad and After Story - Depressed for a while, now tears up at inspiring scenes which I never did before. I swear Clannad broke me
Demon King Daimao = shit

Intensely gory and traumatic stuff will do that to me. Another is a series I liked, and even bought the Japanese fan book and a Misaki Mei figure-- but I'm really hesitant to buy the DVD that's to be released later this year (in the U.S.). I'm not sure I could watch it again. Actually certain live-action films engender a much stronger reaction of this sort in me than anime (e.g. Saving Private Ryan, Dead Man Walking).

Macademi Wasshoi made my skin peel, god knows what will happen if I watch it a second time.

As for one that I liked, probably Captain Tsubasa, but I would not want to watch it over again.

I re-watched all of Clannad purely because of those powerful emotions.
It was just as good the second time too because I noticed more instances of the light orbs early on that went right over my head the first time.

I am not sure I could watch Grave of the Fireflies again though.
That film genuinely did depress me.

This... That was the most heart-breaking thing I have ever seen, but I am glad to have done so. Once.

So shows that we liked a lot, but probably won't watch again. Hm... I'll give my guess on a probability percentage that I won't watch it again

Ga-Rei-Zero ~ 60
Genshiken ~ 50
Toradora ~ 30
EVA ~ 90 (I'll probably watch the rebuild a lot though)
FMA ~ 65 (moved on to Brotherhood)
Ef ~ A Tale of Memories/Melodies ~ 75
Seitokai no Ichizon ~ 25
Medaka Box ~ 70
Gankutsuou ~ 70
Hyouka ~ 90
Kids on the Slope ~ 90
Gosick ~ 80

Plus a lot more that I can't remember.

Rouruni Kenshin ... I loved it but man I cant bear to watch it....my heart dies everytime I remember the OVAs

and Grave of the Firelies and the likes of Elfen Lieb.

As you can see, anything depressing but for those that makes me laugh I watch it over and over like Gintama and Ixion Saga DT
