Hello I'm new here and I'm mostly very happy with the service. However, I have noticed that sometimes series are available to watch and sometimes they're not, and listed as "coming soon", mainly Lucky Star and Dog Days. What's happening there? I really want to watch Lucky Star, basically... :)

Thanks!!

What device(s) are this happening on and what country are you in?

It happens on iPhone and Kindle Fire. I'm in the UK. I think I might have worked it out actually - my phone thinks I'm in a different country to to the UK when I'm not using wifi which is when Lucky Star becomes available - I'm guessing it isn't available in UK?

Lucky Star was one of the catalog titles from Kadokawa, so unlike most catalog titles that are from U.S. distributors, it is actually available in some countries other than the US and Canada. Unfortunately, the original announcement dates back to a time when CR didn't list region availability in the announcement, so I had to dig into the RSS source:

<media:restriction relationship="allow" type="country">dz as ao ai ag ar aw bs bh bb bz bj bm bo bq bw bf bi cm ca cv ky cf td cl co km cg cd cr ci cu cw cy dk dj dm do ec eg sv gq er et fk fi gf ga gm gh gl gd gp gu gt gn gw gy ht hn is ir iq il jm jo ke kw lb ls lr ly mg mw ml mq mr mu yt mx ms ma mz na nl an ni ne ng no om pa py pe pr qa re rw bl sh kn lc mf pm vc st sa sn sc sl sx so za ss sd sr sz se sy tz tg tt tn tr tc ug ae us um uy ve vg vi eh ye zm zw a1 a2 ap eu o1</media:restriction>

The ISO 3166 two letter code for the UK is "gb" (I assume for "Great Britain"), and it doesn't appear to be listed.

While "eu" is the code for "Europe", the FAQ notes:

The "EU" and "AP" codes are used when a set of IP addresses has end users all over Europe or Asia and Australasia.

Please note "EU" and "AP" codes do not include all IPs covered under those respective regions.

I did find a later announcement for some Kadokawa catalog titles, and it did specifically mention the UK was included for those titles.

Unfortunately, it appears this one is going to need some clarification directly from CR as to whether the UK is supposed to be included for Lucky Star or not (or if it was included at one time, and rights to that region were lost later).
