Eh, I bet they both suck since zombies and arrogant royals are shitty concepts that have been enslaving humanity.

Actually, they're both freaky awesome - you should watch an episode each and see if either or both are for you, or not. Hearsay just isn't enough to go on, in this case.

Also, we watch both, recorded on the DVR. I can always watch GOT episodes on HBO Go if necessary, too. ^^

Game of thrones is by far my favorite English language television series. Walking Dead is OK but not great.

Knowing that both diverge from their respective books and comic, my only complaints being that Game of Thrones omits a lot of content from the books, changing events, adding extraneous scenes laden with drama, and excessive "provocative material". Also having to wait a year for each season. Now if only they had found a way to put Peter Dinklage in TWD.

Watched both in the same night.

You know being someone who started reading the series at about the time A Storm of Swords came out, owns the encyclopedia sized original role playing game, made my friends angry with my broken Baratheon speed power grab deck in the AGOT card game back when it was still a CCG and not an LCG, and laughed my ass off with my good friend when we heard Sean Bean was cast as Eddard Stark because it was the best casting we'd ever heard of*, I still have yet to watch the HBO series and I probably should because I hear its good. (Still need to getting around to reading A Dance with Dragons while I'm at it. I guess it fell off my radar a bit considering I waited for like 5 or so years for A Feast for Crows to come out only to have to wait another 5 or so years for the next book to come out.

* I was amazed to find that Sean Bean
has become an internet meme sometime since the AGOT HBO series came out. My friends and I noticed the trend since sometime around the release of Equilibrium, when it happened in the very beginning of the movie, and we started joking from there on in that it must be in his contract that it must happen to all of the characters he portrays. Hence when we heard about Sean Bean being cast for Eddard we thought it was a hilarious double layered inside joke for those who were familiar with both Sean Bean and AGOT book series.
