Why the heck didn't CR get Kimi no Iru Machi? It is on TV Tokyo dang it! GRRRRRRRRR

Actually it could be Gonzo that distributes it like they did with Zettai Boeui Leviathan. I think it would be more accurate at the moment to say that Crunchyroll hasn't gotten it yet since there have been cases where they start a simulcast a week late and post two episodes. As far as we know, CR and Gonzo or whomever could be still in negotiations or CR has to work out a sublicense with some third party.

There is also the slight possibility of one of the members of the production committee holding things up. But I think there is at least an even money chance that CR isn't done with simulcasts.

I just checked, and it appears that people in the UK can now watch One Piece and Dragonball Z. Would anyone mind confirming this for me, please?

I am, but I'm not sure if it's just a glitch with my DNS. It has happened with Crunchyroll a couple of times.
I figured they would make some sort of announcement if they had acquired the rights to stream outside North America.

You can always check what country CR thinks you are in by going to the Contact Us page and scrolling down to the bottom and checking what it lists there for "Detected Country:".

BTW, if you are still seeing these two series, could you grab a screen shot of each and post it?

I went ahead and checked, and it says I'm in the United States.
I also checked the US Crunchyroll website, and it's letting me watch region restricted content.
I'm not sure why this is happening, as I don't have a VPN connected to any of my devices, and I'm using my ISP's default DNS server.

Regarding One Piece and DragonBallz--that's Daisuke, not CR. I think others assumed you were talking about availability on CR, not just availability in general.

ETA: Whether or not Daisuke does make those available in the UK, I don't know. (I guess the downside of taking advantage of being id'd as in the US, is getting really into some series, and then "losing" access if something happens that correctly id's you in the UK, if it's something that isn't available for UK).

Stop complaining and watch as much US regional anime as you can before they find and fix it???? No, that's not right...

That kind of thing happens sometimes ... the IP address space does not have as much spare room as it used to, and sometimes an ISP gets a set of IP addresses that are misidentified by the region detecting routines.

If Hulu also misidentifies your region, work out what Hulu-only series you want to see and schedule your marathon.

anyone watching: Gin no Saji: Silver Spoon???

should I pick it up? I mean...
- Original creator: Hiromu Arakawa (Fullmetal Alchemist)
- Director: Tomohiko Ito (Sword Art Online)

sounds worth it, right?

-edit-

this could pop my Slice of Life cherry...

-edit-

oOoOo... doesn't look like Crunchy has: Senki Zesshou: Symphogear G. I need to find this, it looks promising. -edit- just started the first Season. I'll def. watch this. first episode of the first season, I had one of my "WTF!?" moments! that means it'll be awesome.

Yep, we have a thread on it already. Come check it out. It's a bit like Moyashimon but about farming. I like it so far.

So far, I like Kamisama inai, Free! and Watamote the most.

Not sure about Makai Ouji yet, it could either end up being decent or horrible.
