Yep, it's a real triumph of victory when they finally open up to you.

Just gotta break down the walls and find the treasure inside.

But noooo all the girls I thought were tsundere just turned out to be jackasses, period. No warm side or 'opening up emotionally' to be found.

My brother. He is honestly one of the most soft-hearted people I know, just doesn't act that way publicly due to what I suspect is his sensitivity to what people think of him.

Without sounding melodramatic...yes....and I almost married her. Called the wedding off 5 days before marriage commitment. Gee, what was not to like to be so drastic: height 5'10", 9.4 out of 10 re attractiveness, smart (had a Masters and could have resumed PhD program at Vanderbilt but she decided not to), excellent culinary skills, child was grown, gainfully employed.

Ah, I left out the word "stable". Our relationship was the most mercurial of any I had ever experienced in 20 years dating. Encountering and loving 3 different bi-polars, in my lifetime, have almost become my spiritual downfall. Economically, it is possible to recover in a remarkable short period of time but not so emotionally or physically. The pent up stress dealing with life absurdities revolving around imaginary jealousies is incredible. A few situations that contributed to this feeling of uneasiness come to mind: when this lady's parents explained her past emotional history to me 6 weeks before I was to commit and expressly opine that if I choose to back out they would understand does this not suggest "red flag"? When my "intended" intimates she had moved from 19 different locations in the span of 17 years since her only divorce; when the previous 4 male suitors who happened to be married ultimately chose their wife over her; when every suggestion out of her mouth is going to cost you a minimum of $300 regardless of consequence or outcome (ie...you pay for everything I dream up for the wedding, budget be damned, honeymoon must be a 3-week $25K trip to China, necessity of a new 2-seater Toyota MR-2 so she can look youthful, I could go on and on about little princess wish fulfillment emanating from a 50 year old who, two years' previous, had filed bankruptcy.

I also could go on and on about the demeaning demandingness, it was endless. But I won't. Thankfully the lady I married 6+ years ago instead is refreshingly normal. Marrying her is the best decision I have ever made, no regrets. I feel blessed to have found her (Thank you, e-Harmony).

Tsundere....it's a little bit like watching an old film about nuclear explosions: best to watch and reflect rather than endure and become annhilated.

My best friend in middle school. She was abusive to this guy in class, and he liked it...

Off topic, but when I first saw him he looked like he came out of a 90's sitcom. He had a mushroom haircut, and his attire was straight out of the 90's. It was pretty amusing.
