When Koreans can get rid of the Kim family and the Moon family then Korea can be united again.

Whats your opinion on the country? How could North Korea be fixed?

If I was the U.N (and or an ultra-power that could manipulate governments)., I would first pressure China into stopping any and all food and energy supply imports into N. Korea. Ever since the early 90's N. Korea has pretty much been dependent on China for survival. China also uses N. Korea for their mineral resources and thus boosts N. Korea's economy.

If China completely stopped supporting N. Korea the country would no longer be able to feed its people or military and their energy and exports would dry up. The citizens would probably demand a change in government/leadership in order to re-establish global trade.

We can't bully them when they have 60 years of nationalistic propaganda and generations of hatred for foreign countries. They have to adjust and change from the inside. Any outside involvement from us will probably just be seen as an aggressive action.

That's just my thoughts though. I'm no expert.

The regime has total media control and the hermit kingdoms residents have no exposure to the wider world. Thus the regime can effectively blame all drought, famine, and warmongering as the result of external pressures. I am not sure there can ever be a peaceful solution beyond economic drivers for reunification.

U.S. Military: "They launched the nuke and it's headed for the Capitol, Congress is in session! We need to intercept it!"

U.S. Citizenry: "... Now, now. let's not be hasty. Lets see how this plays out..."

Kim just thinks he's all that and he probably really thinks he's invincible just because that's how he was raised. I bet he's just as brainwashed as half of the population there (by his own made-up stories). I mean, jeez, even Cuba and China don't want him to do something stupid by messing with US interests. If he attacks, North Korea will be annihilated instantly.

I think the only way to make things right is to lift the blindfold on NK and get rid of Kim. The people are only brainwashed because they don't ever get to see anything from outside NK. It won't fix the starvation and poverty, but it's a good start. People will probably live better there without a tyrant taking their money and lining his pockets with them instead of having public projects to help the people.

It needs fixing within before it can begin to stop it's poverty.

I honestly can see China stepping in and doing a bold move of either taking over nk or forcing them to change. Thus world is saved from nukes, china becomes an even bigger power, who tackled a problem the usa didn't solve.

It's afterwards that we should be concerned. Either way nk goes, china will still be a corrupt state along with generations of hate of nk will take years to remove.

It's when NK steps into the light & sees everything that they will begin to remove the rot.

I was so sad to see all the American troops down in Seoul and many of them are worried about the war breaking out. To be honest, I don't think North Korea will ever dare to start a war because the minute they start a war, the country will be annihilated within the matter of minutes. China, S. Korea, America, Russia, and possibly Japan will bomb the shit outta Pyongyang and the rest of the country, and unit both Koreas under the South Korean government.

China has absolutely no interest in helping South Korea. China has propped up the North Korean government since 1953 because it is in their interest to keep the two Koreas from becoming a united Democratic Korea on their border as South Korea is already a significant economic threat to China.
