I find severe blood depletion, usually after a spear has been projected through my mid-section at great velocity, winds me down quite well. I just wish the pain of that invasive technique would dwindle sooner as that lingering ouchy-owwie sensation supercedes any peace and tranquility that should be ever-present during those final gasps.

It calms me down right away knowing he still loveable like always.

I have a major problem with anxiety that I am actually under the care of a couple of doctors for. My best weapon against it is my writing. I find that the longer I write the better I am able to deal with my anxiety. If things get bad, I move on to deep breathing and if things really go nuts, I take Klonopin. I am stubborn though so I only take meds when I think I might start pulling my hair out...which sadly has happened. Oddly enough, I have found that getting up and moving around doesn't help me at all. It only accelerates my panic attack. I avoid people for the most part simply because they don't understand what is happening to me and they freak out. When I start feeling anxious in a public place, I usually just leave so I don't cause a scene. Cops usually think you are causing problems so their first move is to try and cuff you which only makes the anxiety attack double or triple in intensity. When the paramedics arrive, they usually have to convince the cops that they are just making things worse by putting their hands on me so they eventually get them to remove the cuffs. By that time though, I'm so out of it that I'm sure I scared the living hell out of the small crowd that's gathered around me to see the crazy man have a major meltdown.

This is why I only leave my place when I absolutely have to. People simply do not understand what it's like to have to deal with this. All they do is look and point their fingers.
