Music, and read a book you like. Meditation helps too.

Most of all, try not to ruminate on things. Someone close to me has anxiety disorder too and we try to cheer him up all the time so that he doesn't spend his time replaying bad memories and getting angry.

Sooner or later, you have to change roomies. It is no longer healthy.

listening to music is a blessing when i feel rage ... i love to run and listen to music ... that always works for me ... and lets face it a goodnap also helps dispel a rageful mood ... meditation can do wonders for a persons spirit ... just sitting and being still is a good place to start

I try to make a big enough picture that whatever the issue is will seem insignifigant. Then I stop caring. If that doesnt work I just do my best. Over thinking things is an easy way to self sabotage. Of course if your life is falling apart seek help.

i usually tell the person when im arguing when i know im reaching my "atomic bomb state" i say "ok i dont care, now just talk to yourself " and walk away to a different place as they rant at me.xD

what i do to calm down is either ignoring everyone or go to a isolated place and sigh and usually when i sigh my mind goes blank and im not angry anymore

i dont really use this but count ten things you see, feel, hear, smell. ex. "I feel the wood chair, i feel the wind..." you get it it helps take your mind off stuff. Or you can breath that helps a lot... or just watch anime... thats what like to do...... i know im a nerd.... hope this helps.

I focus on my heartbeat when anxious/nervous/angry. It's the greatest feeling to me afterwards because my whole world goes silent other than that one "bum, bum" sound. I've accomplished so much that others wouldn't do because of that trick.

I a nurse too in Helsinki Finland i use to breath in and out and sit in order for me to calm down but that happens for me once in a blue moon cause i am really really very patient even though i am encountering some stuff.When i was doing a home nursing or kotisairaanhoito in part of Helsinki i encounter different kind of stuff which ordinary people can handle specially their being patient.

I shadowbox. Or run when I'm really really emotionally unstable. One night I ran for about two hours. I don't know how I did it but I was so worked up I just couldn't stop; I literally collapsed and that was the only reason I stopped.
I have to blow off energy because it builds up and I feel like I'll explode if I don't do something to get rid of it. I pray while doing either. At work(Subway) I breath really really deep.
