How serious are you taking them right now? For me, I don't feel any danger whatsoever (one of the few perks of living in Ohio, almost zero chance of terrorist attack/nuclear strike) but for people in South Korea, Japan and pacific islands (sorry if I forgot any other allies in that vicinity) they might be in real danger if North Korea is stupid enough to launch the first missiles. I also feel bad for the people of North Korea who are starving and suffering under these idiots.

Edit: I know that North Korea will get all but vaporized if they do attack someone, but do you think they will attack? My gut tells me they won't.

Also funny memes and gifs encouraged.

the dude is trying to prove himself over their military, on which is really really stup.id as I see no logical reason behind it other than..'hey we got nukes'.

As of now, North Korea has set closed doors basically over anyone. Alliance has already set defensive measures months ago and trying to shed some light over to that fat dude, on which hes just ignoring. I just feel sorry for the citizens, being ruled by these kind of peoples.

We know North Korea can't attack anyway. If they hit any of the countries against the North Korean regime (almost all of them), they know they're in big trouble. Also, just because they have a nuke doesn't mean that it's a good and accurate one either.

I'm not so much, but I do believe the U.S. government and surrounding nations have to and should just in case he decides he isn't getting enough attention.

He seems to be following in his father's footprints and using the old American idiom: "the squeaky wheel gets the grease". The more he postures, barks, and threatens to nuke everyone, the more other nations will either step in to mollify him (i.e., food aid, etc.) or threaten further, deeper sanctions (which he doesn't really care about). Either way, he gets noticed and his country's people get to rally around the trumped up nationalism as they starve to death.

I don't think North Korea's nukes could hit the broad side of a barn, but it doesn't mean he won't try.

Personally, I don't think North Korea will attack the U.S. or South Korea, but he might some day ... either directly or through sponsorship (e.g., terrorism). Tangential nations should take him seriously if only for their own citizens that might be in harms way.

Yeah I agree. What I think is the biggest factor in this situation is China. They are supposedly North Korea's only ally (with any type of clout). I think that if China doesn't stop them, or even aids them in an attack, then we could be in real trouble. But, I'm assuming China is too smart to go to war with its biggest consumer.

Cincy, Ohio: Nothing worth blowing up, rests on a natural hill (Ha, kitten your floods), and has a conveniently placed river.

I don't think they'll do anything. And even if they do, it probably won't get that far because they get stepped on.

I just hope they don't.

If they attack, well then, I hope I don't get drafted because war sucks.

North Korea is basically playing a Chess Game using only a King. There's really no choices to what they could do in war. And I told my friends today that maybe this will actually turn out like Homefront (the game). Mocking it of course.

I'm actually not that worried. If they attack us, they better watch their backs. Because we've got allies that can wipe them off the face of the Earth. But we should be suited for war just in case.
I hate war.

I North Korea did try something, then the U.S.'s dinner would be ruined. Marine Uniforms are hard to clean and they would make sure Kim would take them to the cleaners.

South Korea would not fare so well, but the U.S. would pick up the tab rebuild lost lives somehow.

China, if they are smart will tell Kim that he is on his own, like they warned his dad and his granddad.

Japan would be ok.

Only an unstable moron would make the mistake of shooting at anything...I think there is more about saving face than country here though.

The U.S. has Japan's back, South Korea's back, and anyone else they threaten. Just because you think you are smart and can build a Nuclear Weapon, does not give you any balls to demand things.

The US/ROK coalition just need to setup a better middle defense barrier like Israel did against Hamas. They don't need to give into any demands

You won't get drafted, the war will literally be over in weeks at most. Their army may be the 4th largest but their equipment is miles away to even comparing to the US's military. Irag use to have one of the top 5 military and that war was over quick(Saddam led army), the real problem is what do you do after you defeat the person in power. What do you do with the stragglers committing terrorist attacks, Who do you put in power afterwards, how do you support the newly defeated nation, etc...?

I actually liked that game! It wasn't bad, just seemed like thq tried to rush a battlefield/cod hybrid out. Could have used another year to develop and add more weapons. There were only like 3 per class.
