Guys if you are going to mention THAT detail in concerns to the novel, please properly identify what source your spoiler resides from, the show or the novel. For all anyone knows, you could simply be talking about a spoiler in the show (which would be okay to read for someone who has finished watching the show, but not somebody who doesn't want to know what happens in the novel), thus leading them to thinking it's okay for them to look.

When you post spoilers with no information on what's inside them of course people who have seen the whole show are going to look.

I got word that this anime is very very popular in Japan and that is a good sign. I feel they would plan on a second season and i hope so coz I really like this anime a lot.

For me the ending was fine. IT goes with the feel of the anime overall.

But I have been rewatching this while I worked on his cape, and little scenes here and there in this anime just cracks me up. For example In episode 12 when Maou sama was fighting Sariel and Emi got thrown by mistake and he saved her . And Maou goes "oy Emi ...mai hadaka desu " and Emi just quietly closed her blouse ...

got to love

A huge thanks to everyone who went to my blog and read the first half of my review of the show! It was great to see so many references from CR. If you liked the first half of the analysis, here's the second: http://reallifeanime.wordpress.com/2013/06/29/the-devil-is-a-part-timer-review-part-2/

Feel free to comment at the end of the post, or let me know on here what you thought about my review.

I loved this show and would love to talk more about it ^_^

If it wasn't for Attack on Titan this would have been my favorite anime of the season. I laughed so much at this anime's usually spot on humor. Every episode had atleast one moment that really made it for me. This will continue to remain a favorite comedic anime of mine and I truly hope that it gets a second season because it could so work.

For me, if it weren't for Flowers of Evil and Chihayafuru, this would be my favorite. I do also really like AoT.

Definitely in terms of anything with major comic elements this was the winner. I loved the end of this episode--the first part, not so much, but I still wouldn't mind more. I mean, I'm not aching for it like am for Chihayafuru, but I'd really enjoy another season and it seems there's enough story there for it to happen.

At the beginning of the spring season, when the first chart show up, i was like " what kind of (lame) plot it's a devil working in a fast food place".
But now, after i've finish watching the anime i really take back my words. The show was amazing, the best comedy by far. The end didn't was amazing tho.. but i'm looking forwar to another season! There must be!

I'm rather disappointed that I didn't enjoy Flowers of Evil like I wanted to. The rotoscope capture animation style really turned me off to it. It was on the verge of real looking, but almost creepy. I've been told to watch Chihayafuru. What was its greatest element would you say?

So how different was the ending to the Manga/Novel. I felt the ending to the anime was...meh Not much closure so does that mean it could have a season 2 or something. Please reply in quote to me to say how much different or did it really follow the manga to some extent.

It hasn't even covered like 70% of the novels. Theres a lot more to go.

Hope it gets another season since is sounds likely. It definitely has the quality to go 2 or 3 seasons like shows like Kaminomi or Oreimo.

I actually did like the ending. I thought it was nice to bring it back around to where things kind of started, and it was nice to see at least some minor reconciliation between Emi and Maou. Plus, spinning umbrella is adorable.
