Hi guys....

I had fun cosplaying as Maou sama at AX yesterday...A lot of folks recognized the costume and I get at lot of "Maou san" call outs with their smilling face , I love it ...

I wished I finished Alciel mantle and though ...I met one fellow Crynchyroller Hataraku cosplayer too

Check the new photo
;) , http://www.crunchyroll.com/showphoto?id=23640309

Looks great! I think Maou-sama is probably more recognizable than Alciel anyways...

Who was the fellow Hataraku cosplayer playing?

Wow thats insane! But highly understandable...I really like this show as well

Why can't Funimation announce the DVD/Blu-ray release already! I want to pre-order now

lol, I know. I've had a lot of free time recently, and the wait for Monogatari 2nd Season is borderline unbearable w/ out something to watch. Thank the maker I only have to wait out the day, lol

I'll be pre-ordering the BD's as well. Gotta make a 2nd season happen!!

Finally finished this one up, lol.

Thought it was a pretty decent show, overall. I was hoping for a little more action than what we had in this season, but what we did have, I thought was pretty good. And the ending I thought was an ok way to end this season. However, it kinda left me not really desiring a 2nd season, since there was no cliff-hangar of any kind, and even some of the unresolved issues, I honestly don't feel that excited to see them resolved or anything.

Agreed, while there were some nice moments it didn't leave me either needing a season 2 or needing to read the novels either, which is good as I have too many novels and discs to buy, watch and read as it is for other shows...

well I always had a feeling this title is a hybrid since it has a bit of a slice of life with little bit of demon magic action and some sub plots so it wouldnt have any of the major cliffhangers like we get from other shows.

However this show has not entirely resolved the main conflict of the story, Maou sama is not back in Ente Esla and He has an entire Kingdom to rebuild.

Jup, I also was a bit surprised this season actually ended. I didn't look up how much episodes the anime would contain and I was like, where is episode 14?
Oh well, it was decent, just hoped for a bit more action.

Japanese fans thought more highly of it, already buying almost 12000 copies of volume 1, putting it into 3rd place for spring sales so far after UtaPri 2000% and Oreimo2 but Shingeki no Kyojin and Railgun S will almost certainly move it to 5th place after they come out in the next few weeks. Still very respectable and it will go up a bit more in the next few weeks.

So, how's that leave us for a second season/US release?

US release has nothing to do with Japanese sales but for a second season if they want to do one they will go right ahead after sales like that! Novel sales are also excellent so I'd say doubly sure of a second season.

For a US release, Funimation bought the streaming rights but did they get the home video rights? Not that I saw but I could be wrong.

A small tribute from a college RA to a show which brought him a lot of joy: http://reallifeanime.wordpress.com/2013/08/17/a-ras-tribute-to-the-devil-is-a-part-timer/

Wow, this thread just got resurrected from a pile of rubble, lol.

Interesting tribute though. I don't think he used the right color for red or blue though, lol. I think he needed to use magenta and a bit of a darker blue. xP
