I have read a fair bit of the manga; it's a "big girl" series (run in the same publication as 07-Ghost) so it's got lots of eye candy with hawt and cute guys. But nothing in the BL-sey direction (at least, not on the level of Hakkenden).

First episode looked lovely. I'm sure this will be my "yum" series for spring.

Despite hearing that, still plan on watching this show; it's one of the shows I was looking forward to this season. The hot guys isn't going to be a problem, BL on the other hand...Well, as long as it isn't too bad, probably won't even notice it. They said K had it and I still really don't see it.

I find it amazing how sensitive people are about calling things out as BL. "OMG, he smiled at the other guy! I'm getting evil yaoi vibes from this D:" By the same logic, most ecchi anime would definitely be yuri (you know, the boob rubbing girls are always doing on each other). If you didn't get any vibes from K, you definitely won't from this one, lol.

oh really you didn't see it... -_-

Don't forget this...

OK, I'll try to stay on topic after this.

Wow, this show is underrated.

Here's a beautiful image of Tsukumo from the latest episode to boost up some excitement:

I'm still enjoying this and the manga.

Just watched episode 2.

And I'm really starting to like it right now. The whole Circus thing seems interesting. It's an organization that hunt criminals down and have provide shows as entertainment.
I like that.

Oh, did I mention the voice actors in this? Freaking amazing. So yea. I'm starting to like it now. Hopefully, it won't disappoint me.

I liked the episode 2! But this seems little bit fast paced? I mean they skipped some scenes from the manga. Otherwise I liked it. I really love the animation here! Also this show feels really underrated....... It shouldn't be! Also that OP is bloody fantastic! I mean it's GRANRODEO so it should be good!

Despite the fact that I absolutely despise these types of shows, thankfully it seems just interesting enough to keep me watching thus far. That's much more than I can say for K and Black Butler.

But even If the show goes to shit, at least Tsukumo is kind of cute. I really like the blond and pink look. Especially with those pigtails

I wouldn't really call it underrated, there's been a lot of pretty shows this season and Karneval's been a bit of a mess in terms of plot. I'd say it's as popular and well-liked as I would expect it to be.

Episode 3 was really interesting, I think the plot picked up quite a bit.
I'm really looking forward to next week's episode, the cliffhanger at the end really left me in suspense!

The plot's a mess, and I'm losing interest. Still not in my "drop" pile, but it might be before the season is out.

I can stay with something without much plot as long as I can empathize with at least one character, but this one's still not really holding much interest for me. I just don't like anyone, they're all just "meh", especially now since Nai turned into Kyube. And since I have to put up with Hulu's commercials to watch legally, I'm only giving it one more chance to define itself, I think...

Personally, I like this.

When I started, I thought it was going to be a boring anime. I mean, the first episode was alright but it wasn't particularly good.

But the longer I watch it, the more I like it.

I mean, it's hilarious and adorable.

I haven't laughed out loud while watching anime for a while now. And this anime managed to do that. So I am definitely going to watch it.
Yes, it's kinda plotless.
But who needs plot when you have eye candy, awesome seiyuu, humor and cuteness.

I mean, this is good anime to watch when you are stressed up and all you want to do is unwind. So yea.

Finally. I've been waiting to gain some sort of depth to the characters, and episodes 5 and 6 delivered. I did not expect to see this much development within the course of a couple of episodes. That music was incredibly well-placed. I can see why this thread isn't getting much action, as I was getting close to dropping it as well. If you dropped it right off the bat, then it may not be for you, but if you are on the fence and thinking about whether it is worth watching, I will say that you should continue at least until episode 6, and then see if you want to watch more.

Dont really like it. I love Gareki and yogi but the plot is lacking for me and the animation is pretty shitty

Yes, the character development and insights are probably the strongest points of this series. The plot is kind of mucky imo right now. but hopefully will pull itself back together. It's the construction of the characters that makes up the bulk of this series.

To me though, I actually like the elegance of Karneval and the artistic designs of the characters/setting.
