Yea it Sagami her tone of voice and her decision annoyed me.
I felt she had way to much screen time this episode.

and the rejection expert monologue had me rolling haha.

Ep 10 just made me hate everyone at that school even more, i like how the directors used this episode to show how Yukinon is usually isolated from everyone.

8man not doing anything is very 8man like... I think it is fine.

The 11th episode is going to be really interesting.
I like how creators made those characters and interactions between them so realistic.

This show is really growing on me! The cheap BD1 that includes a 128 page novel AND drama CD and 56 minutes of bonus footage. It is only episode 1 which I kind of hate but for 3500 yen I have actually preordered it. The Muromi-san character song CD I also ordered is 3000 yen so this just seems so cheap. But then I may need to import the rest of the series, but maybe that's OK! Then I'll have to buy the novels... at least the next ones and especially the one with the OVA... man, hate it when a show sneaks up and grows on me like this! Naw, actually I like it. Not what I was expecting but it has turned out to be one of the best shows of the season for me.

This is supposed to be funny, right? I mean it has comedy in the name and everything.

I grinned quite a bit during episode 10 but I felt bad about it at the same time.

As I just said above, the show isn't what I was initially expecting but it has grown on me. I still haven't seen episode 10, silly week delay here but I'll wait... But the title saying that his romantic comedy was all wrong is actually explained in the first episode though I'd forgotten until I rewatched it today as I made sure that I could buy BD1 and would actually want to rewatch that episode.

Now I just need to get through Chuunibyo episode 2... to make sure I'll really want to import the whole series.

Edit: and setting aside my anti-Chuunibyo prejudice... episode 2 is great! And I suspect at least somewhat autobiographical. And I think I love this show... the artwork is a bit rough, low budget even but the story is great, love the characters and music.

I'm kinda in the same boat here I find the show funny but it is filled with relatively interesting/serious drama.

At first I found Hachiman's attitude funny and refreshing. Then I realized it's just teenage angst no matter how well you dress it up with sharp wit. I get that the title basically tells you to expect the opposite of a Rom-Com but right now I'm just watching Hachiman follow a script so tight(oh look it's Saiki lets make a overly obvious joke about how he's beautiful) that even when he sticks his neck out to help it is exactly as you'd expect teenage "wisdom" born out of a world view so cynical that it makes me look down right optimistic.

Hachiman needs to develop because as much as I like this show and find it funny he's beginning to bore me with his tired eyes and tired antics. I fully expect everyone to disagree though because for some reason everyone loves his I'll just do nothing attitude.

I'm honestly reveling in the fact that they didn't feel obligated to stick humor where it didn't belong in order to let the show have stronger emotional weight going into the finale, but it still caught me off guard.

I kept expecting a "haha; this is the part when you're supposed to laugh" moment that never came.

I'm not turned off to Hachiman yet, but I do hope his horizons expand before the end.
