And on the book at the end too... kind of funny that they went and renamed it SNAFU at the last minute...

Most likely for length's sake. My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU isn't as much of a mouthful as My Youth Love Comedy is Wrong As I Expected. And even then, you could just shorten it to SNAFU. Unless there's a show out there that I'm missing that already has that in its title. >_>

The thing is, not many novel names start with Yahari... so they could have made a short form like the Oreshura, Oreimo... but instead they added SNAFU at the end... dunno...

True, I'd actually just been referring to it as Yahari since I first learned about it. Still do, technically, although I have to admit SNAFU is fun to say as well.

Well, speculating is about the best we can do. It'll just be really confusing if people start addressing it in different ways though.

I had also just gotten used to calling it Yahari, now I don't know what to call it...

Those long titles make it hard for me to buy the right books on amazon.co.jp as sometimes the only different part is at the very end which gets cut off. Still not sure if the long titles are a sort of long running joke or just an attempt to make me buy the wrong series by mistake, which is very easy to do! Which "Ore no..." book did I want again???

Haha, I feel ya. I'm good with remembering the long names, but I'm finding that it's a disturbingly popular trend within the industry. I just hope they don't get any longer.

The identity of the dog owner is revealed in episode 5. Anyone interested on who the owner is but doesnt want spoilers on the rest of the episode can click on the first spoiler. Second is pretty spoilerific.

My views on episode 5

I am a big fan of this show so far.

So I've been hearing that episode 5 puts a little bit of the rom into play and teenage angst. It's mirroring my angst for having to wait a week to be behind

I'm surprised CR isn't able to throw in both episodes so we'll all be caught up. Is there some kind of legality issue with it and/or red tape?

Only thing that sucks is that we already know the next ep is destined for failure lol.

I will go out on the limb and say Hiki is the best protagonist of spring 2013.

At least it seems to be going down a road that isn't that predictable and generic. The romance will come...I assume.

IDK Maou from Hataraku is pretty high up there but its definitely a tie between those 2 imo.
