hey there seen as though there is a thread for cars, i wonder how many peope prefer motorbikes to cars, i am not shall this topic exists so here it is!! unless...it does

well for us in the UK, when we reach the grand age of 16, we can do a simple test called a CBT (compulsory basic training) or something on those lines, once we pass it means that we can drive anything with a Leraner plate on that is no more than 50cc...

i have already passed my driving test though i would like to get a scooter-

so i can feel the breeze passing through hair...

...No more than 50cc?
Wow...thats like...
.05L of displacement.

But yeah, I've never gotten to try those, they look fun though.

Now for Bike Lovers Out there :D
DUCATI 1098

DUCATI 1098

The Ducati 1098 is a 1099 cc (1098/1098 S) or 1198 cc (1098 R) L-twin sport bike manufactured by Ducati. It was announced on November 8, 2006 for the 2007+ model year and replaces the 999. The 1098/1098 S makes a manufacturer claimed 160 horsepower (119 kW), 90.4 lb·ft (122.6 N·m) torque, and weighs 173 kg (381 lb). The 0-60 mph time is less than 2.8 seconds and top speed is estimated at 186 mph (299 km/h).[1] The 1098 R, announced in November 2007, makes a manufacturer claimed 180 horsepower (134 kW), 98.8 lb·ft (134 N·m) torque. These figures give the 1098 the highest torque-to-weight ratio of any production sport bike ever made.

well here it depends on age.
from 16 to 18 max displacement is 50cc (though a calibrated 125 cc is allowed aswell)
18 to 21 max Kw is <25 (on average nothing over 300-400cc)
21 to older you can have them all..

YZF-R1 has a lot more then 200cc displacement...(doesnt R-1 mean 1000cc like R-6 is 600cc ?)
