So Oreimo already premiered at Otakon...lucky jerks...

WAHHHHHHH? HOW LUCKY CAN THEY BE?? UNFAIR.

The premier was at like 1500 on Friday! Terrible placement. I was still at work! T_T The panel with Kanbe-San was really cool though! They gave away three episode scripts include S2E16 by raffle! I've been avoiding spoilers so far... but there's been such a negative reaction... I mean the attitude in the panel with Mr. Kanbe was pretty up... but I suppose only fans who liked the end or hadn't made the premier would have gone to that...

Which one are you?

I took that picture while I was in that line (with people snaking the length of that hallway behind me), but then the staff came around and made a big production about how once inside, we couldn't pull out our cell phones, even for a second, to text. Clearly they were paranoid about people videoing. If I'd been by myself that'd been OK but I was pseudo-chaparoning someone and needed to be able to communicate if necessary.

Are they localized for English?

The ending I spoiled for myself by reading the spoilers here of the LNs, so, I wasn't surprised when everyone came out looking like they'd just been told There Is No God. But I'd already realized my interest in this anime wasn't the same as everyone else's. I liked the first season because I thought this story's point was to be a hilarious send-up of Otaku culture. The second season made clear that this really was a story about relationships. That would have been OK, if I still didn't hate Kirino.

Uhmm... actually, kinda slipped my mind that they aren't localized, sorry. I don't think there are official plans either, and I don't even know if any unofficial patch or anything is even out. Even then, the two that are out were released before the light novels ended, so whether or not you'd accept them as real alternate endings I guess is up to you.

It'll be interesting what Happy End decides to do. I'll get it either way, since a certain part of me wants to reject the OVA ending, and replace it with my own.

Funny thing people still yet believe that this series is originally Otaku stuff. From day one it was hinted about this outcome and one day the question must be answered about ''why is she into Imouto eroge?'' You got the answer and now are complaining about it where the author said he planned this ending around when he wrote Volume 6-7 and in particular when he did the commentaries for the first season where it was hinted greatly(go watch them). And to be honest, when the series reached its main plot (relationships), there is no way he would end up with other than Kirino, be it romantically or not since the story revolves around them both and the journey of them reconciling where they actually love each other. One more question, why do people yet hate Kirino? Appreciate character development more and look at her from a positive light rather than always a negative one since we know why she acts so restrained around him or Manami. People have to blame themselves from shifting attention to blushing side characters and avert their eyes from the actual plot, hence the disappointment.

Countdown to Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai.'s OVAs
PST
I'm so looking forward to watching the end as I've stated before. I feel that there's going to be a lot of emotional moments for me as we watched these episodes tomorrow night. I'm planning on pulling out my DVD copy of Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai tomorrow after watching Space Brothers. (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Sisters maybe) & Kin-iro Mosaic to re-watch the series again. Then come back to Crunchyroll to watch Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai.'s episodes. All good things must come to an end. So I'm looking forward to the end.

Episode 14

Episode 15

Episode 16

The wait is killing me. Slowly.

"The Railgun Sisters arc is a good way to pass time." says Plena, nodding in Renji_Tamaki's direction.

True. It is a good arc, and I loved every thing that the sisters arc gave, But I've got to go with re-watched the first season since I haven't seen the whole first season of Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai since the beginning of the Spring 2013 Simulcast. Thanks for the suggestion though Plena

so there was that mal score thread, around the high 7's, just wanted to know.

Why is everyone so... excited(?) for the ovas? I mean, it wasn't that exciting of a series.

Did u watch the PV? It basically highlights the main reason why a lot of people are interested in watching it. I actually thought the comedy aspects were pretty good in this 2nd season, and it had some really nice moments in it as well. But it's just an opinion, we all have our own.

I just happened to fall in love with Oreimo. I like the characters, and the way everything develops was entertaining for me. Sure by any real measure, the series is above average at best, but a lot of people (myself included) became rather attached to the series.

The entertainment value of anything varies among people. There are some series that aren't amazing when looked at critically, but become really popular anyways. SAO anyone?

The PV just teases on who

That's all. And to me, I think It's good that this series will come to an end, because I'm always one for closure even if it may not go the way I want it to.
