Posted half way through ep. 16
I was team Manami all the way. I think back the night Kouske stayed over and everyone in Manami's family assumed that he was a lock in marrying Manami. She didn't deserve how this series ended and agree with her on every point including telling daddy.

Saw all of ep 16

Maybe they need to release a time-skip episode, telling us what happens after so many years (maybe when kirino graduates high school or something) and not the time-skip episode in Season 1 OVA. I really want to see what happens to all the relationships and if Kirino and Kyousuke continue to just be siblings, or go the incest route after all.

So, after the 3 ovas do you have a better or worse impression of the ENTIRE series.

A worse impression of the writer/writers. I don't look back on the series and dislike it. This series didn't turn out like I hoped, but I won't say it was awful. It had plenty of funny moments, just slowly strayed off towards the end. The writers made him the sacrifice and hung out to dry. I have been pondering who looks more favorable with this ending? The brother or his sister? She gets the dream achievo and he ends up burning all his bridges.

i wanted to see Ayase on the OVA episodes besides the quick flashback.

I was hoping that she would make a comeback. Perhaps, changing his mind. But I guess at this point , no one could have.

Okay, you want different spin on the Oreimo ending, I've got a crazy one: (warning that my theory below might ruin one's perception of it)

Maybe I'm stretching the details way too far to make the interpretation that I want, but that's up to you. If anyone who's read the novels can shoot a hole in it or offer further evidential support, it would be appreciated.

This is actually a pretty good interpretation and I honestly think that this is pretty accurate in terms of how this odd-ball relationship had become.

You are in luck then cause a short is set to be released in the future. It takes place 10 years later and shows what has transpired. All we have to do is wait.

I would be interested in seeing that. Any kind of time frame? Written or Anime?

It has actually already released in a light novel format. It was included in the limited edition of vol 1 for the 2nd season of the anime. Just hoping they animate it in the future.

For everyone wondering why the ending turned out that way.

The author actually wanted them to end up together, he stated so in 2 different interviews. But due to the fact that it would have been incest, the publishing company said they refused to print it if he had gone that route. So he went as far as he could with that ending. It is actually rather sad that it had to be like that. I am rather furious over it.

The Time-skip episode will actually calm people down that are angry at the last 3 episodes, and are not happy at the ending. Im sure if they get feedback from people, they will make it sometime o:

It has only been released in written format and there is no confirmation that it will be animated yet. We can only wait and hope.
