It has only been released in written format and there is no confirmation that it will be animated yet. We can only wait and hope.

After today I need a redemption episode to clear up everything that happened in 14-16. After 16 we know that it didn't go as the author wanted, and I applaud the publishing company for putting their foot down. I need to see both of them married to other people and still happy before I can truly enjoy today's OVAs

I usually prefer tsundere types, but Kirino is just an outrageously unlikeable character for me - I can't stand her at all.

Kuroneko was pretty much set up to be the ending for Kyousuke in the anime, but because the author is as Bakuman Japan-tropey as one can get, we end up with.....this.

You said yourself you need a redemption episode. I'm assuming that means you were unsatisfied?

You know I would have to agree with you. To me an ending where they actually end up together, happily ever after, would have made me want to strangle the author. It would be an insult to all the readers. As I have stated before, I am not against incest in fiction. It is just the way that Kirino and Kyousuke got together, and all the casualties they left behind, and the reason for it all that makes me angry. So many good characters hurt : Ayase, Manami, Kuroneko, just because Kirino was a brat and Kyousuke was an idiot. I was physically getting sick watching these episodes, not from the incest, but from the stupidity of it all. Then Kirino at that scene with Manami just took the cake, I seriously wanted Manami to go all Kotonoha on her, and unlike Sekai, Kirino deserves it.

Many people still put hop on the time skip story, but don't count on it. This is as good as you can get. I was prepare for a big rant after hearing what would happen at the end of vol. 12, but I has calmed down after reading it myself. I am kind of understand why Kyosuke did what he did, and I don't believe the other routes have been complete closed. Let your imaginations fly.

I like frogfrogfrogfrog's interpretation too. Kyousuke has been doing things he didn't want to for his sister the whole anime, why stop now?
lol tho it went pretty far, I prefer to think of it as him just sacrificing everything to help his sister he loves (platonicly) see her dream come true in a sort of way.

I have only read the 5 translated volumes of the LN i could find, so i too know this may not have been the author's final intent... but
i still prefer to think of it like this.

These last three episodes feel like BS to me, in every way. The plot development, the way all the characters acted, the lack of Ayase & parents, etc, it's ridiculous. If you take the last three out, it can easily go to the Kuroneko route, and makes much more sense (he was in love with her, and I can't believe his promises were hollow). These last three just seem to tie up the story to finish it off after having explored all the characters, rather than to continue writing.

U know, I kinda wonder, what if Kuroneko never broke up with Kyousuke back in season 2? Do u guys think this series could have gone in a different direction (let's just forget what the author had intended and think logically how the characters are)? Or do u think something more could have developed from their relationship that would have made it stronger to the point that Kyousuke

Through fanfiction?

As for my opinion on the OVAs it was good and I honestly felt a bit satisfied at the ending.

Suiko - He started out for his sisters sake, and stayed true to that to the end. He only showed true emotion when explaing himself to Kuroneko so i'm gonna assume he truly did love her, but just stuck too firmly to the whole blood thicker than water belief lol.. he just decided who he would rather hurt, even tho it hurt him.

And yes, wish there was more 3;
