Oh.....My......God.....

You're a genius!

Twin incest is soooooo hot. Well, it is if they're both girls. And they're both hot. And not related to me.

Maybe that says something about how you post, not me. Maybe you should re-read my post? Why exactly is it that you think that your post was a valid response? Where was the implication that I apparently don't know the difference between real life and anime? Because I created an example situation that compared the two? The point was simply that Kirino is unlike-able. Whether anime or real life, isn't relevant.

You're right though, we should end it here while you haven't yet made a complete fool of yourself.

Oh God, I felt like the inner parts of my stomach has been ripped out. Thinking back to Oreimo Season 1 Episode 6, It was such a cute and innocent episode with Kyosuke and Manami. But in these OVAS, Manami went From mother theresa to Adolf Hitler, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WATCH EPISODE 6 AGAIN?

First episode - God, Kuroneko ripping up the love journal was like having my eyes ripped out with a spoon and having them shoved right up my ass. It's so tragic to watch all their memories just die like that. Personally, I thought he was going to confess and that the OVA would have just been an alternate scenario thing.

Personally, this is all God's/Natural selection's fault for making Brothers and sisters incompatible, plus why Couldn't Kyosuke and Kirino just go to a place where Incest is legal like Alabama or something? This is such a bitter sweet ending

Ayase's last scene = I thought it stunk, most of the interaction between Kyosuke and Ayase is either concerning Kirino or comedy relief, I never noticed a emotional connection, she was just yandere foil for some laughs

Sena's last scene = Sad that she didn't have much air time in the anime since she was so funny, but I guess her "Development" was over when she made friends with Kuroneko

Saori's last scene = I was hoping for more of a connection between Saori and Kyosuke but her story seemed to have ended in episode 3 and never really had any more strong parts to her when I personally thought the rich girl + otaku angle was something cool to explore

Kuroneko's last scene = She keeps going back from sad to content and I feel bad that she was left all alone, You can clearly see that she's constantly fighting within herself to contain her rage and sadness while Kyosuke doesn't really seem to be as sympathetic as you would expect for someone he went out with. I think her end is the most tragic, when you look at someone like Kuroneko, You can see someone who is used to alienation and loneliness, she lives in a completely different world of her own anime where no one else understands her and so she is cold to everyone else. She speaks in her own language, doesn't want to mad any real connection to anyone, and indulges herself in fantasy rather than reality, and for the first time, she had a relationship with another person who tried to understand her and for someone so young and someone so weird to open herself up to him and then have her get rejected and tear her memories away is just pure sadness and I personally think that Kuroneko's ending wasn't handled that well, I think there should have been more to the break up. Kuroneko may be tough and very well written and one of the most well-done females I have ever seen in anime for many years, but personally, a rejection that harsh should be much more painful than what we saw with Kuroneko

Their Parents = I loved the parents, ESPECIALLY their father, so it's a shame we never saw them ONCE in the freakin endings.

Kanako's last scene = I never even knew that she was a contender but despite being a rude whore, she seemed interesting enough but we barely saw her

Manami's last scene = Holy crap, she is a psycho nut job but she is definitely right and it's ok to sympathize with her. I bet Manami is a representation of Tsukasa Fushimi's editor who refused to let him do an incest ending, but still, It's hard to even have words to describe Manami, she used to be most boring chick in the series, a symbol of the normal life Kyosuke could have had, but he threw it all away for his sister. Now she is a creepy nut and It will be hard to watch Episod 6 from now on because it's so goddamn sad. Also Manami punching Kirino is the gut was just....Awesome

Kirino's last scene = This entire ending felt like a massive train wreck, he rejects ALL the girls and chooses the one with the least likely chance of a normal future and then he loses her as well. Kirino feels like a very one-note character so by watching her constantly, she kind of grew a bit boring, she was much more fun to watch in the first season. But other than that, I think the ending stinks. How could they possibly live normal sibling lives after ALL of that? For the sake of ethics or for the sake of good writing, it would have been most appropriate to end on incest, despite it being morally objectionable, for the sake of literature, I think it should have ended that way.

I just don't know what to feel for this ending, I definitely did not expect this out of the 6738 scenarios I envisioned. The ending is not happy but just bitter sweet, much like the Ending to House M.D.

Overall, I love Oreimo alot, I love shows that try to solve their problems through Dialogue and understanding rather than solving their problems by flinging a bunch of swords around and fighting eachother through physical violence. I hope more shows will be as fun and entertaining like Oreimo....But I really doubt it. Overall I will always love Season 1 a million times more than Season 2.

On a final note: I seriously did not like the confession, Back in episode 11 when Kirino expressed her gratitude towards Kyosuke, THAT had much more feeling than the confession her. This is a LOVE confession but it kept feeling like Kirino was still keeping her feelings at bay, the non-love confession at episode 11 was more heartfelt than the one they have been building up for over 30 episodes

I know it's probably not the final intent of the author, (although its hard to say considering the ambiguity of japanese,) but I think the best way to think of this ending (at least for me) is this.

idk so ima think of it this wai
i hope this idea helps some others accept this ending more too.

(some thoughts hijacked from frogfrogfrogfrog) ['cuz they made total sense to me]

I have a question, I've been browsing through the Oreimo forums and notice that some guy named "Dutchguy" keeps appearing, does anyone know who he is and what relevance he has to oreimo?

He is known on 4chan mainly because he and some hate Kirino and love Manami. That said, you can't have a good discussion with him without him stating things from his mind and nothing from the LNs etc... One sad thing he did was, he bought all the LNs and tore every Kirino illustration. Level of being crazy has been crossed. Pure hate whatsoever, really. Nothing to be proud of also.

Nobody is really that surprised he picked Kirino, it's how they executed it that everyone is pissed, if you couldn't interpret that much.

Hmm, to this day, I still don't really know what 4chan is, it's supposed to be a discussion forum yet it has no search box so I don't even know how to navigate it. He tore every Kirino illustration? Did he like show a video of it, how do you know he didn't just say that just to piss people off? Can you post a link to an Oreimo forum on 4chan? It's hard to find it
