Not going to happen tbh, MBS are withholding streaming rights for the most anticipated non-sequel anime this season. Enjoy your piracy studio, because you arent going to make money out of it anywhere but japan. Seriously, its almost like they want to give the pirates legitimate excuses

Are you serious? I thought that was a joke when I first heard it, but I suppose not.
I can't imagine what they're thinking withholding rights, there are times I can totally see why shows don't get streams but this seems pretty stupid, especially considering it's such a big show.
Hope they change their minds about it, I was actually really excited for this one.

This is what Im reading from well informed twittererers. It also would make no sense to leave even the announcement this late if anyone actually had it, whatever, Im just going to watch it where I can. If its possible for me to get it legally anywhere then Ill do that but if they simply make it impossible for me to get I dont feel bad taking it for free.

I feel the same way. If they aren't going to make it available to foreigners I'll pirate it without remorse. http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00C38PQE2 They didn't even put english subtitles on the Blu Rays. Anyways, I'll probably end up buying the english copy if/when it gets released.

Please provide source links. At this moment, this is only an unsourced rumor. If you could point to these supposed Tweets, I could at least weigh the veracity of this.

If true, MBS is being really really idiotic.

EDIT: It's looking true.https://twitter.com/AnimeNewsdotbiz/status/320574880221388801 (h/t to theskyflame for giving me that link).

Humberto Saabedra is not some random Twitter guy so I guess some Japanese companies still don't get it.

Yeah, I read it from Twitter as well, I was just hoping it wasn't true having not seen any official announcements.
I'll give it a few more weeks, because I really do feel it's a pain to illegally watch anything, but it really does kind of annoy me considering Attack on Titan is one of the only shows this Spring I was excited for. Ah well, you win some you lose some I suppose. Hope it at least licensed even if it doesn't get streamed.

Hey guys I understand you are upset by this show not being announced on CR, and potentially not being announced anywhere. I totally agree that if MBS did decide to not sell the streaming rights they are making what I would call a.... mistake. That is me putting it unbelievably mildly. So it is totally understandable why some people may want to turn to less legal means of viewing the show.

All that said... let's try to be sure to actively avoid encouraging people to seek alternative illegal means openly and remember that it is not okay to share links to any sites that might help you do so on CR.

No one has done anything bad in this thread, and like I said, if they did decide to withhold all streaming well that just really isn't smart. So don't feel like you are being "warned" or some line is drawn in the sand. That's not happening. I just want to make sure people know not to take it a step too far.

Who knows? Maybe we will get lucky and CR or another site will have an announcement for it soon? I kinda was looking forward to watching it myself.

So what is their reason for withholding it? They would most certainly gain more money if they sold the rights to stream it.

Japanese companies are renowned for not taking feedback of criticism at all and making monumentally dumb business decisions when relating to foreign markets. So I'm just dropping it down to that

I'm disappointed that Crunchyroll hasn't been able to get Attack on Titan! Hopefully somebody manages to pick this up.

I totally agree with you there.

Its as if the old mind or farts as one puts it are making decision as if the internet do not exist and that they are alwayrs right . It shows that they are proud that they dont need the international market to help them ( not unless they are planning on streaming that themselves) ... anyway Sometimes my reaction to that mentality is not to support their product at all.

Of course we dont want to encourage people to watch it from unkosher stream sites but if peeps want to watch it , we cant stop them now dont we.

Sorry I had a talk today with my chiroprator who is Korean and we had a little talk about Japan in the past and how Koreans were treated back in the olden days .
