Where would be the best place to watch the new episode, since Crunchyroll isn't going to air it?

Crunchyroll will air 13.5, it will just be late:

Due to a production issue, episode 13.5 will be delayed by a few hours. We thank you for your understanding and appreciate your patience.

Not sure I will bother but may watch the preview as Stark700 suggests.

since this weeks episode is just a recap, here's something to help pass the time.

Not a bad recap at all, the next episode seems great.

I'm new to Titan and I have a question:

Why can't the inhabitants live underground to not be tormented by the Titans? At least until they find out how to get rid of them.

I kind of liked how they handled it, even though it was a recap.

Then we'd be watching Gurren Lagan part Deux!

In all seriousness, interesting thought to consider.

They'd starve to death; you can't exactly grow much food underground, especially with Middle Ages agriculture.

I only mean living. They'd have to grow food above ground obviously and take a risk working, but at least their homes would be safe underground and not in danger of being crumpled and destroyed. It seems really stupid to me to see them build homes above ground and in prime view of attacks.

It wouldn't be as exciting. I'm sure the inner most wall has secret passages and whatnot, knowing nobles and their schemes...

Also, Titans could still break through. There are different types ranging from dirt stupid to human intelligent, and they can range from 2 meters tall to 50 meters. They come in all shapes and sizes, like cups.

Seems like a plot hole to me somewhat. I'm sure since their situation is so desperate, the people would have taken the better option even if it wasn't completely foolproof. It would have saved them a lot of time in rebuilding and effort.

Well, maybe the author wasn't thinking that far ahead...

The author has thought out his world pretty well. This idea is just completely impractical.

Think about what medieval cultures did after dark: nothing. Because they had no realistic light source sufficient for getting work done. Now you have to come up with a way to keep an entire subterranean civilization of hundreds of thousands of people well-lit and fed. And how could you possibly utilize titan-controlled land for farming. It's implied that titans are drawn to humans: every time the scouting legion goes outside the walls they lose 20% of their force.

Even ignoring the titans wrecking the fields and causing a famine, it'd be a completely impractical working environment. And in addition to all that flat land is the worst possible place to fight titans because you can't use the maneuver gear. And every time you went work there'd be a horde of titans outside the gate waiting, because they followed you there yesterday and then went dormant overnight. So everyone would go underground, be trapped in by titans, and starve.

And in the end the only difference would be instead of a colossal titan to kick down the gates in the wall and an armored titan to ram them down, there'd be a delver titan who dug tunnels into the underground cities and let other titans in.

Plus they spent a hundred years believing their walls were foolproof. So it was all hunky-dory until episode 1.

Makes sense. Oh! I know what's hidden in the basement! It's the wardrobe to Narnia! If humanity finds it, then they can just call on Aslan and Prince Caspian and the White Bitch... I mean Witch...
