Here is a word of advice. When you are watching a show you like and you have not finished it, do not read or search anything related to that show (like comments on a youtube video). Because it is very likely that you will get spoiled.

Manga Spoilers (not a spoiler for you now that you know who it is)

I was trying to find pictures to help support the theories I made earlier

about episode 23 when annie is laughing seriously though. its a half-hysterical laugh of relief so yes, some are claiming its OOC. Hell look at her friends faces. they've NEVER seen her like this and its freaking them out. Its supposed to feel OOC, you're supposed to feel betrayed. Because outside of her skills and bits where her real self came out (under the mask of her stoicism/deadpan voice), you don't know the actual Annie in the least. Its been an act, she's thrown off both her friends here AND us. And that is awesome to pull off. and does this make her weak?
Not in the least. Infact she might be even more deadlier now without the emotional burden of being a spy, and backed into a corner right in the most deepest reaches of the Wall Territories. And then one day when aiding one of the closer friends, you get ousted. Just like that suddenly you're being openly & directly identified. after years of deception and careful trickery. Annie is experiencing shock, and intense relief, not to mention feelings of how ridiculous the situation is. She's laughing cause she doesn't need to put up a charade, she's blushing from the blood rushing into her face from the intensity of emotions (not just the situation but the long term bottling up). Imagine you've been deep undercover for years acting as a complete stoic (cause you're a damn kid) & not being yourself for all those years, committing horrible acts of deception and then facing a situation where you need to push yourself to more and more desperate acts of slaughter. You feel the pain of people killed, specially friends. people keep misunderstanding this scene for some reason. Since she didn't react like this in manga (more like a creepy smile). The change was made from the original author, he pushed for it while the anime director wanted to retain the original scene.

Wow! Getting a full 5 star for AOT is great! But looking at the rating number "666"(current number) is crazy! I didn't see that coming!

Probably because they can see it's the most overrated thing since SAO, go read the manga after it's aired and if you have a good sense of story progression you'll see there really is none and that people just get sucked into the action/drama/death.

Meh filler is filler, it's like how most of episode 24 was in fact filler and it's lead to some bullshit theories based on nothing but mere speculation.

in the interest of fair play, i agree that i had hoped for a better story progression than the one that came with the production. but then again, any producer/director with common sense who sees the anime is selling franchise after franchise like hotcakes, will tend to slow down the progression. to milk it of course. let's give them that right. if you want good pacing to the story, read the manga. if you want the kewlness the anime brings, don't whine about the progression. and also, slow progression does not mean bad story, which is what some seem to think. the story is the most original, most exciting thing i've seen in a while, and i have been seeing a lot even before i went premium on crunchy. everything is virtually perfect. the animation is definitely a bonus too. spinning Levi vs. Female Titan, in particular almost made me crap my pants. almost. i think.

It is probably because Eren doesn't have full control of his strength so he just puts a limb destroying force behind each blow he throws. Which is fine against the normal Titans, but against an experienced Titan-shifter like Annie who has had years of experience honing her abilities, every blocked or missed strike is devastating to Eren. Pretty much all a Titan-shifter has to do to beat Eren is go on the defense. He beats himself up for them.

I can accept that on a level because as Mikasa said in titan form Eren sort of does become the form of humanities anger against the titan's and as such I agree the idea of him 'holding back' is not really likely.

But the reason that I made the second example that I did was Eren just punched Annie in the face with little or no sign of real damage to her yet he damaged his arm up to his elbow. Annie on the other hand kicked Eren in the forest with enough force to go right through his Eren's head but also the tree next to him yet we once again saw no visible damage to her form.

In both examples there was no evidence that Annie 'hardened' herself that I could see just that Eren's body seems to fall apart a bit easier.. there might be some other explanation from the manga I just don't know about but its just something I am curious about being the some times overly observant geek that I am.

Not really. Most of what he said was what the Mangaka said in a recent blog about the changes made in episode 23. http://nolaneko.tumblr.com/post/61348614374/hajime-isayama-made-this-blog-post-today-so-heres (the site also as a link to the original Japanese blog post)
