Looks like I wasn't too far off with the reaction to how Ledo handled the situation last episode.

I hope the pirate slaves are okay

Well, it wasn't exactly a maid-spin, but the pirate queen (voiced by Ayumi Tsunematsu, GJ Club's Mori) did wind up going around in circles...

Another great episode. This series continues to impress me with the battle and ethnics. "Arigato". No, no, no. Arigato for a good episode and CR for streaming this!

I can't wait to see what's coming next.

logically speaking being thrown that far, in a vessel, from that height into the ocean is a pretty much guaranteed death unless the machines were specifically designed for such a task which I highly doubt.

now, am I the only one that was disappointed there were no genocidal robots?

I doubt they'll kill the boss pirate lady off, I think she'll be back and she'll be pissed and want more revenge or at least want a rematch with Ledo/Chamber since she was beaten in front of her whole pirate crew

Yeah you're right it's better to slaughter everyone because of implied sexual assault and it's pretty clear he wouldn't be killing someone who's skills they want in their fleet.

bad politics

one side does the killing the other side says it is ok to let them kill us so long as they survive

i mean blame the guy who saved the livelihood of an entire population from getting ransacked. totally what I'd do /sarcasm

I do hope no one starts the argument of " you should never kill no matter what circumstances are "

edit: the worse thing is not about asking for help and not being appreciative, but is asking for help and blaming the helper

Even though AnimeKami's comment was a bit crude, I agree with him... the whole blame your saviour thing was the only thing I disliked about the episode.

Does anyone else think the whole exchange was kinda tsundere? lol

"Its your fault for saving our people, so you need to go and defend us, and remember, it's your fault! ...and dont expect me to say thank you!"

He saved a single ship and in doing so put the entire fleet at risk. The pirates don't make a habit of taking on an entire fleet like Gargantia as per the episode suggests but because they utterly destroyed her crew and ships she has to put down the dog that decided to bite back too hard.

episode 3:

protagonist should of denied AND refuted every line by saying it in a calm cool headed manner which left the people speechless

then we the audience would OMG HE IS SO COOL!!! (wave hands in air)

but no we are discussing how a group of people are pillaging others (which mind you indirectly kills), and it is okay for the events that have occurred to occur

To put it in perspective it leaves a really bad after taste is the best analogy for episode 3.

I am praying this doesn't get guilty crowned.
