So quick question, even though it's pretty much asked in the topic, I just checked Wikipedia, to see who voiced Shishio Makoto, and it's Steve Blum! So seeing how he can play these roles, well awesomely, how many villain roles has Blum voiced both in Japanese and American Animation?

Hundreds, He is well known for voicing either the most or nearly the most characters for a voice actor.

Here they say it's Blum.

Maybe they switched actors. It's been know to happen?

I'm asking about the villain roles he's voiced, unless you did answer my question and I'm missing something.

Still, thank you both for replying!

BlackWarGreymon - Digimon (more of an anti-villain)
Red Skull - Avengers
Green Goblin and Chameleon - Spectacular Spiderman
Beetle - Ultimate Spiderman
Shin - Fist of the Northstar
The Laughing Man - Ghost in the Shell SAC
Yamaki - Digimon Tamers (more of an anti-villain)

Those are the only ones I can recall off the top of my head. If you haven't checked his TvTropes page yet i'd recommend you do, he's played some really odd roles in video games.

Don't know because I haven't seen everything he has been in. Not sure which roles are villains and which aren't. Impressive Bio:

Yeah, Rick Astley, huh... Someone just got "Rick-rolled".

David Wald played Makoto Shishio in the latest Rurouni Kenshin OVA: New Kyoto Arc.
Steven Blum played Makoto Shishio through out the entire Rurouni Kenshin (TV) run (second season).

well according to his IMB page and in his work in 1996 , he is Makoto ,,,maybe the other name is his other name for non-uniun work which is pretty common practise among voice talents in the US or a mistake... .

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0089710/

I have met Steve a couple times but its always with either Yuri and Crispin around so I dont think he remembers me lol...very popular guy too.

I kinda doubt that, since http://youtu.be/oHg5SJYRHA0 is pretty much the only thing Rick Astley is known for.

I believe that Rurouni Kenshin has two dubs so that may explain why the sites listed actors differ.
One was a Media Blasters dub and the other was a Sony dub I believe.

Japanese voice roles: None, as far as I could tell from the MAL list, which guess what, is correct.
English: Many, as I could tell from MAL.

MAL says that it's Steven who plays Shishio Makoto in english, in japanese it's http://myanimelist.net/people/703/Masanori_Ikeda
Rick Astley = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ (So someone is trying to Rick Roll a lot of people on the site where Chrome got that from).
David Wald is correct though, he too plays that character, in the new thing.
