Were you ever depressed and sad when a pet that you owned was dying? What was it? Did you love it very much?

Had a dog, but she died about five years ago. She was awesome. Very kind, fluffy, and great around kids. She was a Norwegian Elkhound. I adored her.

Not really. I miss her but, I knew I would probably out live her. I understood that when I adopted her. Death is as much a part of life as living is.

She died and I ate her. She would have done the same for me had I died in my living room.

I've had two cats die, one from kidney failure and the other from cancer. As much as I loved them, it never really affected me because I have the emotion and sentimental feelings of a brick.

My idiot grandfather (on my dad's side) sent two of my dogs to their death. Too bad I was like 7 back then.

I would have ripped him apart if it was now.

I had two dogs, Holly and Zahra. One day when I was at school, the latch on the back gate broke (they were outside dogs) and they escaped. Holly was hit by a car (thankfully, she didn't suffer) and we still don't know what happened to Zahra.
It was the last school day of the year, too. Not a very fun way to start the holidays

My first pet was a cat named Charlie. When we moved to townhouses that had a 'no noisy pets' rule, we had to give him away. We gave him to an elderly lady whose cat had recently passed away.
I was still very young though, so I can't remember much of Charlie.

I used to have a whole ton of fish. Only one of my fish was a female and i named it Aaron Carter (I can't tell a fish's gender to be honest) and she was the first fish I ever owned. I cried when she had to be flushed down the toilet and also when a bunch of her babies (there was like a total of 20 fishes she gave birth to) went down the sink which was half of them.

My cat who was actually the neighbor's but she stayed in our home so basically she was ours. It happened during my birthday week. I canceled my dinner party because I was really depressed. She was the best cat in the world. Very calm, quiet and affectionate.
