I tough it seemed pretty good... Started kinda slow. But it did have a solid ending to keep you going. Only time will tell if its worth it

Well it does feel there is more to what the eye can see.

So I went checked the manga just a little and the begining of the manga is actually pretty dark with all the bullying he was getting at HIGH school and

I still dont know why but the manga is actually pretty good, the anime changed a few things here and there or else episode 1 cant show the gist of the plot and I am looking forward to it to see it animated . I hoped the animation is better though ...oh well...its still ok..

the story does get more complicated....looks good ... but 12 episodes is not enough to finish the story

I bet there will be more than one season, depending. The manga has been going for a while, so it's not like they lack for material.

I sure hope so..

I saw the number of chapters it has already Its actually pretty long so hopefully the ratings does well and they will come back with another season. I am hooked with the story.

Episode 2 is almost as in the manga plus...I still wish the animation is better.

I love it inspiteof its weakness

Episode 2.

Not really enjoying this. I'm more interested in what happens in schoolboy Arata Hinohara's world, and they're showing that hardly at all. (Though I do understand that with only 12 episodes it might be better to spend more time establishing how things are going in just one of the worlds.)

And what's up with Hime clan Arata being shown in a change of clothes back in Hinohara's room, when we're still seeing Hinohara in the school uniform he was whisked away in? (And while no one in other-world seems to notice Hinohara's unusual garb--they just see their Arata, why do people in Hinohara's world notice other-Arata's (partial lack of) clothing--though they recognize him as their Arata?) At this point that just seems sloppy though I guess there could be some explanation forthcoming.

People made comments about Hinohara's uniform in the manga to make clear that his clothing wasn't affected. I'm guessing they cut those lines out for time related purposes. I suppose Hinohara is just wearing what he's most comfortable with, since he has the choice to do so. Arata doesn't, on the other hand, because he brought no suitable clothing to wear with him, so he's forced to wear Hinohara's stuff..

Thank you. Knowing that helps. I guess it's possible it was mentioned in the anime and I just wasn't paying attention. I wouldn't expect them to spend a lot of time on it--just a moment or two. Grandma clearly did notice that something was different and was quick to figure out what had happened, so maybe I missed something during that scene that made it more clear that, yes, really, he is still wearing the uniform.

Also in the manga ,in the people perception from the 2 world they see them as the Arata from their world even though their hair is different and even with the clothes they wear..., like Hinohara wearing his uniform all the time and sometimes without his blazer but if I remember it right someone did commented on his weird clothes lol.

Indeed the other Arata was half naked ,so he actually wore the modern day clothing.. However the mangaka did not wrote about those situation on how he dealt with all the new things that surrounds him and the event that just happened,he somehow just accepted the fact that hesomething just happened to him and he needs to adjust quick.. ....

If it was written, it would make Arata more connectable so It would be nice if the anime production would add those in the story. I felt that part was lacking and there was more written about Hinohara's adventure as the new Sho and his mission to fullfil.

But later down the rode , a little bit more is written with Arata but as much as Hinohaha's

Episode 3. I don't love it but it's watchable and I like the main characters and have some interest in seeing what happens next, so this has made it to my "keep watching" list.

Episode 3

The anime changed things from the manga. My impression of the boys that they were bad news among the prisoners The red hair is a bit of a bad ass, but in the anime they were coming out as the comic childish pair.

So I feel the anime episode felt really weak .

Unfortunately We will be seing more of the red hair in the future episodes as you see it in Op song.

At first I thought they were presented as largely badass, and was surprised (and not all that pleased) when they were later represented in that "comic childish pair" way. While I've (surprisingly) come to enjoy more things that have a light and sweet tone to them over the last few years, at heart I have a much greater appreciation for grim.

So it's kind of sad to know that that's one of the things that got "sweetened up" from the original source material, presumably to make it more palatable for a more general audience.

That it is true.

I am really put off of this portrayal of Kanata. He is a thief and had took upon to him to take care of Ginchi for a specific reason. To me he is older in the manga. He sound too young in the anime. His character is coming out pretty shallow from this adaptation.

If I were to pick a seiyuu that will work for him , it would be Yoshino Hiroyuki , who was Bossun in Sket Dan...he can equally be bad ass and silly

not having read the manga i didn't have any expectations really but the way he entered seemed serious enough and he protected his friend very seriously its only the interaction with the girl that seemed not serious anyways despite arata's helping them out i don't think they are at the point of traveling buddies (like is depicted in the intro ) yet so there might be some additional scenes to see before that
