Oh I don't mind and I enjoy it too as long as it's not all muscular bulls of men who don't care about the rest of the audience. Also I noticed on lots of concerts the hardcore moshers never care for the slow songs, which I think is a little disrespectful towards the band, like those were not worth paying attention to. Some people are obviously only in the audience to do "sports".

I'm actually pretty glad to have a "protector" (as my female friends and me call it) on metal concerts, because they "protect" you from the massive guys

^hahahh and lol ^^

i was abandoned and left to die by my friends in a slayer mosh pit once. but the mosh pit trunt into a packed mosh pit so it it turnt masses of people squishing eachother. so funny, people kept fainting cus it was humid they couldn't breath and they couldn't drop cause they were dragged by the crowd; i had to slap them to wake them up lol

at that night some one i knew got knocked out twice in a mosh pit, before slayer were even on. they kept surfing aswell, and in the end, they were in teh middle and back slayer moshpit, where the bigguns are.

mosh pits can be fun but stupid and pointless. without heavy bands they kinda suck

Ah mosh pits are so painful..It's ok if you're at local gigs and everyone's just having some fun and not taking it seriously but when you're at concerts everyone goes mental!
At first you think "ok maybe this isn't so bad...a few pushes here and there but on the general quite fun." but when you're stuck between an 8 foot guy who's adamant to shove you out of the way whilst he flings his gorilla arms about and a huge guy who might as well be a heavyweight boxing champion, stinking of beer and about to take his top off to demonstrate his loyalty to the band, you start plotting how to get revenge on your friends who pushed you into the pit in the first place. ^^

its pretty stupid to me, once saw a girl trampled, but i guess its a way of taking your aggression out, although there are much better alternatives than this

i try to avoid moshpits and enjoy the music. and be near upfront. and headbang if i want. jumping is fun. some people i know just go to concerts specifically for the mosh pits, pits like SLAYER, where we all think we're gonna die. they got knocked out like 3-4 times.

i try avoiding them. but some time some one makes one right behind you. then you feel like joining in for abit. other than that, i prefer pushing people in, it's much more fun and less painful for me, and more painful for the one i pushed, which is good revenge, considering they crash into me in the first place.

A good number of guys in mosh pits are relatively respectful for petite females in the crowd. I've seen girls politely approached and warned or if things looked like they might turn a bit rough picked up and placed in a safer location.

I tend to avoid them though. Of course they don't really coincide with the music I usually listen to either.

mosh pits are fun as hell.
and yeah, you do end up with cuts and bruises lol
you even get punched sometimes <__<;;

but it's all fun as long as you're don't worry about getting hurt
if you do that.. then you won't feel the pain till a few hours later ^__^
oh, and i do recommend shoes..especially if everyone else has shoes on!
i'm looking at you ladies -__-;;
