So I'm in my second day of playing Bioshock Infinite, and I was curious what affects do my choices make anyway?

I've come upon two major ones and maybe one minor:

1. Where to throw the ball, I didn't choose the couple and all hell went loose.

2. At the ticket stand where I asked the guy to hurry up in which he stuck a knife in my hand and all hell broke loose. ..(Some guys have all the luck, huh?)

3. The pins which with the cage and the bird (I choose the cage)

So what happens if I had made the other choices and does it affect the game throughout and is choosing the pin an important event ?

Still enjoying it like crazy, even though I'm taking my time with it and even exploring every nook and cranny.

As what I know, there are barely any difference with choices. There might be some slight differences if you choose something else, but it doesn't affect the game much so you shouldn't worry about it.

Slight Spoilers:
1. When I threw the ball at the couple, hell would still went loose. However, I think you would get a gear as a bonus for throwing it at them.

2. If you choose to raise the gun, you would not have a bandage on your right arm. There will be a different scene after the encounter at the ticket stand if you choose either of the choices.

3. No notable differences. Elizabeth has it throughout the whole game.

Yeah, so you know, there is no real "choice" in Bioshock infinite. No matter what you do the ending is the same and the game plays out identically. It is mostly for flavor and to make the characters more believable. Also maybe a teensy amount of replay factor.
