My cure for my own laziness was:

- Moving out of my parents house.
- Setting a career goal that I enjoyed.
- Buying my own home (TONS of maintenance in owning a home...you are never bored)

But the biggest cure for my laziness was this:

- I volunteered at a retirement community. I listened and watched people in the 70s and 80s as their life ended.

I think once you fully grasp just how short life is, you'll stop being lazy. You just don't fully believe you're mortal yet, and that this is your one and only shot at living, accomplishing, and inspiring. Leaving a legacy, inspiring others, being remembered in history, having children, falling in love with a person or goal .... you lack passion ... you're satiated.

Pick something, master it, move on.

You'll hit a wall at some point and realize not just how little time you have left, but that you never really had a lot of time to begin with.

Sometimes I wonder if it's really laziness, or is it disinterest, lack of motivation, apathy, or depression. Any one of those can seem like laziness...

I usually get boredom and laziness mixed up maybe because I have the two feelings around the same time. Mostly, my laziness comes from no motivation or sometimes fear. I don't like being lazy, I want to do stuff and move around. (that's why candy is my main man~) The last time I had an overpowering lazy time was about last week, and my legs gave out at school, and I didn't feel like moving anymore. UGHHHH I GOTTA PICK ALL MY STUFF UP, DUST MYSELF OFF, AND FOR WHAT? SO I CAN GO TO NEXT PERIOD?! But normally, I'm too happy and hyper to be lazy, so I hate the feeling. >.>

Sometimes, I feel like I just want to bum around soo I don't do anything. Then I realize I have to do something but I'm too lazy.

It's nice every once in a while, but as with most things, you should never have too much of a good thing.

Damn! I just hate this kind of feeling....

Just wanted to add since it is summer here. Adding the heat makes me more unmotivated to do things...

My opinion is that if there is a will there is a way. If you lack of it you can't do anything properly.

^This

But I have accomplished a little work around.I daydream(aka think of lots of original ideas and get ahead of myself).

I figured if I become too lazy. Then I should at least do only everything related to what I "should be doing". Ya know.Like be lazy about everything not related to my career interest. It became easy for me to do.

To me lazyness is part your mental choice and your bodies fatigue playing a side by side role.Mine is admittedly pin-pointed to the fact that I don't have anything going for me(Really). So I am almost always bored. So I arrange a couple fixes(Like music, news, video games etc).
