For me, there's no solution. It's all about how much you were disciplined as a young child. I was spoiled... and never forced to do things.

I hate to say it, but I live my life this way ><

Without a deadline I get nothing done. It's simply hard for me to function without one. But I've pulled two all nighters back to back to write a 42 page report complete with all kinds of fun charts, graphs, and data analysis, oh joy. Over time, you'll adapt yourself to either no longer procrastinate (highly unlikely) or work with it (quite possible).

The irony there is it just takes time to get used to it, or will power to break it.

I'am working on big projects and "lines of death" are only meant to be shifted to give the management a right to exist.

When I am procrastinating the best thing I find to do is wait it out the feeling will pass.

.... can't give you any help to cure procrastination, since I, too, depend on that sense of urgency to actually do my work or study.

I suggest you drink tea and stay cold so you don't fall asleep at night. Finish your project or whatever, hand it in and come home and sleep like a boss.

Nothing will cure it unless you're MOTIVATED to. Alarms won't work, you can turn it off. Notes won't work, you can ignore them. And internet is usually necessary to complete any task nowandays.

I usually go to the library and don't leave it until I get my work done and if i don't finish it that day i keep going back until I get my work done.

I usually either think about how much time I have left to do what I'm procrastinating or think about how badly I want whatever I'm procrastinating done.

Just do it when you have the opportunity.
