I'd love to read at the library but the local system doesn't have much of a selection unless your into what I call "grocery store" novels. Out of a system of around 8 libraries you'd be hard pressed to find more than 3 works by any single author that's not Danielle Steel or Tim LaHaye.

I go there either study or research, so I'm guess it counts for reading.

In school I would always read in the library during my lunch period but an actual library outside of school I can't recall ever sticking around to read there. I always just grabbed what I wanted and checked it out to read at home.

Yep, I find it's easier to concentrate and actually get work done at the library so I if I'm working on a big paper I could spend many hours reading for research purposes. I'd like to read for enjoyment but never seem to have the time

No. When I read I want to be comfortable with everything I need cause it will be an all day event if the book is good. This means food, drinks and no pants. None of this can be done in public.
I only went when I was little during the summer, to borrow the max amount of books, so I could have plenty to read at home.

Nah.. Like right now, using the school internet at the library to get to CR to see whether it really has screwed up for my account ._. My account won't let me reply to GBs!! ARGHHH
ANYWAY, sometimes... Sometimes I MIGHT read a book or something. *picture books*

Haven't been to the library ages. When I was really into books (sci-fi/fantasy) I belonged to a sci-fi book club and bought my own books. I also went to used bookstores & bought books. The library never had anything good. I now don't buy books as often as I used to, but I still have all the books (read & unread) that I bought before in near mint condition....several (laundry basket sized) boxes of books & 4 bookcases with 4 shelves each. I can't seem to part with my lovelies.

In our town the library is quite a drive away from my house, and hobos/bums & stray cats like to hang around there......the hobos are scary.

I do and I enjoy my time sometimes I stay until the place is close to closing. I mean I'm in walking distance of it so its not like it takes a lot of time to go home.

Yes. sometimes. When the computers are full, I just read. If I'm not in the mood for a computer, I check out the books.
