Nope I can't read in the library, I have to be on my own if I want to read a book :).

I remember during college and high school, the library was my paradise I would always read books during breaks and lunch time since I had nothing else to do, so I would sit down and read a lovely book to satisfy myself.

Occasionally. Sometimes I'll turn my phone off and read at the library for a couple hours.

Years ago I worked in the Circulation department of the Memphis/Shelby County Public Library. And I read a lot--so much that it became a disciplinary issue. Funny thing is that now that I work elsewhere and can read in the library, I very seldom do. (A large part of that, however, might be because the library now functions more as a community center/internet cafe/babysitting service rather than as a place to find and enjoy the printed word. . .)

I've been wanting to work at a library for some time[Barnes & Noble is evil]but I'm steps closer to making that happen hopefully. I actually wanted to work at B&N just trying to get a job there was an annoying task.

Good luck! Sadly, B&N took over several bookstores here in Memphis, and seemed on the verge of forcing some others to close. I'm proud to say that we local bibliophiles fought back with our wallets, and crushed at least two of the upstart B&Ns. We are taking particular care of two of our larger independent bookstores, obvious targets for further B&N greed.

Ah okay. B&N took over Borders a while back but that is all in the past.

I only read at libraries if I'm waiting for my ride to arrive. I go to the manga section which is just a little stand in the corner of the library and sit down on the couch and read a manga or two.

Nope. I take naps in the school library and I don't stay really stay at the public library. I prefer reading at home.
