so im wondering do any of you guys actually read at the library?

I haven't been to a library in three years. I like going into book stores though because I like the smell of books (Barnes and Noble is heaven).

When in college i'd study in the library all the time. It was/is an awesome library and one of the reasons i'd pick classes with research papers is because it'd give me an excuse to dig through the old history books in the temperature controlled section of the library.

Sometimes I do. But I rather read books at home where it's comfortable and relaxing.

When I was still in college, I would always use the library to study and/or read my textbooks to keep up with or get ahead of the material. I don't think I ever actually read for leisure there.

Nope. I usually only go to the library when the computer at home is down and I need to get on the internet.

I do on occasion. When I'm waiting for someone, when I need to fill in an amount of time, or just when I feel like reading in a library.
It's also fairly good for testing out the books before you borrow them.
Uni Library I read in, but that's because they don't allow some books to be borrowed (Ref. section only guys)

So yes is my answer

When I used to go to the library, yes.

However, I haven't been to a library for years.. I get all my books off Amazon and my classical music on Pandora + my room are all I need so I can read peacefully.

Yes, unless I'm watching my little niece try to read or is read to by her mother. I seldom visit libraries, though.

Well, usually if I don't finish a book for class, I just chill in my school's library to finish it up.
If not, I still go to the library, but I start watching anime on my iPad.. xD

I work in one library and volunteer in another, so I am in at least one library just about every day, but I don't usually have time to read when I'm there. Even when I am just in a library to browse, I prefer to check out books and read them at home rather than reading them in the library.

Libraries don't exist anymore. It's just endless lines of computers with a bookshelf thrown in every so often.

Ok, not quite to that extreme. But the college I used to go to had a library, with a few computers, lots of books, and so much quiet I could sit there for hours to read and study. Then they remodeled it into a "learning commons" full of computers and tossed probably half of the books. Now it's not noisy per se, but there's so much clickety-clack of people typing and sounds of people walking to and fro and shuffling papers and all that...couldn't concentrate anymore.

Yes, isn't that what library is for? I used to read a lot in the library at highschool but that's mostly cause the book was my only friend. I still read in the library at college but only when doing homework. Also, I use to walk to the library that's on my street so I could read for fun.... now I think about it I should start reading again for fun :3
