So I finally got a job to sustain my otakuness and subscribed to Crunchyroll... but there is nothing good available for our region :(

I feel like 80% of the anime here is more oriented to kids and well kids mostly go to fansubs.

There is only 1 show this season licenced for our region wich is kinda good I'll unsub till we get better anime licenced :)

I know that this is just my opinion but well I mean I wanna get all the legal anime I can get

Hey Bjaker! Hope you're doing well.

It's been more than a month since your last post here in this thread so I was hoping you could give us now some concrete information regarding the number of series available for LA.

Best,

Rodrigo.-

Rodrigo,

Apologies for radio silence!

I've been checking back with the licensing team and while I do not have anything concrete at the moment they reassure me that they are still working on negotiations for Latin American viewers.

I just put a post it on my desk to remind me to update here every once in awhile.

Sorry again and will let you know as soon as I have info.

Best,
-Baker

Hi again, Bjaker!

The summer season is already begin but I still don't see any update in this thread.

Whatever, for the moment this is being a good season in regards to new simulcasts and I hope it continue this way. Though I still waiting for updates about translations, catalog titles and new payment methods for our region.

Regards.

Edit: It seem maybe I talked too early... I hope to be wrong.

9 of 12 (75%) available shows to Latin America this season. Worst than Summer 2012 but better than Spring 2013 for the moment.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread.

My question is a pretty simple and straightforward one. I'm moving back to Mexico in a couple of months. How can I check what is, and what is not available there? Is there a list I could check? Or am I going to have to wait until getting there to check it out?

I've realised that if I change the site's language to spanish, some of the animes will disappear. Would the ones still listed be available once I get back to Mexico, or will the list shrink even further?

My understanding is that CR detects what country your IP address is currently coming from when u access their site, and based off that, u will only be able to see what shows are available to u with whatever country CR currently detects it is from.

And as far as I know, there's only one list u can check to see which shows are available to u in your current location (country): http://www.crunchyroll.com/videos/anime/alpha?group=all ~ to get to this location yourself: click on "Shows" at the top of the page, then the "Alphabetical" heading, then "View All".

As far as changing the site's language goes, I'm not sure what that has to do with shows not showing up sometimes, I just know that it can, but I believe it's just one of those bugs or glitches that still need to be fixed, considering that I can actually watch all, or maybe most of the shows with the site in the Japanese language, and I know Japan is one of the regions that CR generally doesn't get any territorial rights for.

P.S. I believe a thread is classified as "old" if it has been more than 6 months since the last post.
