I really liked Full House, but towards the end of the show, I just wanted to punch the charaacters and scream "JUST BE IN LOVE ALREADY, OK?!?!?!?!" It was drawn out a bit too much and ended up being frustrating. But nice thing about it was you got the ending you wanted, whereas usually in Japanese and Chinese things, the characters are usually separated or everyone dies. :(

LMFAO are you serious??
actually korean dramas are usually.. people being separated and dying of cancer..
Only some korean dramas supply you with a real happy ending, most are incomplete happy endings or like full on sad ending.

Haha... I totally agree... I don't know Chinese dramas per say... but J doramas and Tw dramas are like fluffy, pink bunnies compared to most Korean dramas.... It's only luck if you don't watch one with a drawn out storyline, a cancer patient, siblings in love, a backstabbing third wheel or a break up that lasts almost the whole series in a K drama... That being said, I find K dramas to have the most unique and moving stories of the asian dramas and awesome fight scenes... I've included a list of my recommended Kdramas below:

MY RECOMMENDED K DRAMA LIST:

If you want romance...

Lovers: The last and absolute best of the Lovers series, it's about a love square between a lonely gangster, a plastic surgeon with a fear of saving lives, a vagabond playboy and a pregnant girlfriend. I love this one most of any kdramas for two reasons: a) The many kickass fight scenes and all the gangsterness to it and b) The great chemistry between the leads. Although it does get melodramatic like any kdrama, the cute and funny bits between the leads make your heart melt. It is no surprise that they are in a real life relationship.

Delightful Girl Choon Hyang: Modernized from a traditional Korean legend, it is about two high school students who are forced to enter a marriage contract after a misunderstanding between their parents after they were found in bed together. Funny, witty and well acted.

Over the Rainbow: The story of four young people training to become performers and their entangled love lives. It's really addictive and it will make you see another side to becoming a star.

If you want something entertaining...

My Girl: Probably the most famous Kdrama out there and doesn't need explaining, it's about a con artist with a special art in lying who enters a contract with a rich hotel director to pose as his long lost cousin, only to fall in love with him. The beginning of this drama is hilarious and you will not stop laughing, but by the end it gets more serious, but in a good way.

Coffee Prince: A young woman finds herself falling in love with the manager of the coffee shop she works at, but the trouble is: he thinks she's a boy. Really cute and sweet, Gong Yoo is adorable!

My Lovely Sam Soon: The Korean version of Bridget Jones' Diary, it's about a chubby pastry chef unlucky in love who goes to work at a famous restaurant and enters a relationship contract with the handsome, younger manager, only to find herself falling for him and having the battle for his affection with his ex-girlfriend and first love after she returns to Korea. Witty and really funny, Sam Soon represents to average woman in today's society.

Goong: A fairytale-esque drama about an average high school girl who finds out she is betrothed to the High Prince of Korea.

Couple or Trouble: Based on a 80s American movie, it's about a rich woman who suffers amensia after almost drowning and is brought home as revenge by her arch nemesis, a poor single man raising his three nephews who tells her she is his girlfriend. I didn't want to see this one at first but it was worth it--- hilarious from the first moment it starts...

Sweet 18: It's about the arranged marriage between a 18 year old and a lawyer--- it's about how they deal with the age gap, marriage life and falling in love.

Money's Warfare: This one is about a man who loses everything to moneylenders and decides to become one to avenge his family's sudden poverty---- This one has many James Bond like slick moments and hilarious leads (they do become hilarious... just after a few episodes)

If you want something that will touch your heart...

The Snow Queen: Although this one does fall into the typical Korean melodrama, this series is a masterpiece. Yes you will cry and yes it is sad--- but it's worth it for it's well written script and amazing acting especially the leads Hyun Bin and Sung Yuri, who really show off their talent compared to their other dramas. It's about a boxer living another's dream and a rich cold hearted young woman who meet, and even though a tragedy which links to their pasts seperates them, fall in love.

Thank You: A doctor finds himself fufilling his dead girlfriend's wish to make amends to a single mother whose child was accidently infected by AIDS due to malpractice by the dead girlfriend by renting a room in their home and secretly helping solve their problems, only to end up falling in love. So touching and heartbreaking---- it will make you open your eyes at the ignorance people still have when it comes to HIV/ AIDS.

If In Love Like Them...: Only four episodes long, it's about two terminally ill patients: one who just survived the collapse of a shopping mall and the other a rising pop singer, who decides to escape normal life to the countryside where they fall in love.

Loveholic: The story about a narcoleptic high school teacher who gets involved with a rebellious student, but due to a tragic turn of events, find themselves seperated until they meet years later and truths are revealed... I wrote this summary to make it sound melodramatic because it is. Very. But so good too. The K version of Majo no Jouken if you will.

KMovies You Should Check out: He was Cool, Temptation of the Wolves, 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant , My Little Bride, The Legend of Seven Cutter, My Tutor Friend 1+2, My Boyfriend is Type B, Attack on the Pin Up Boys, Fly High, Virgin Snow.

GOOOOOOOOOOOONG. YES. ARE YOU A FELLOW GOONGNER! :]]]]]]]

that makes me so happy lol.

LOL...Goong was awesome. Joo Ji Hoon is cute, but I can't help but love Kim Jung Hoon (Yul) too...poor guy. Can`t wait for Goong 2 to come out next year!! ^^

Someone should upload My Sassy Girl (w/eng subs) up here. xP

yes. i SO agree. yul was so tragic. and handsome. haha. i can still see his pained expression. :(

and goong 2...has SE7EN!?!!?!! i really wish they kept the original cast...but it'll be interesting to see what SE7EN & the newbs can bring. especially with the flipped plotline. EXCITED.

lol actually....the Goong with Se7en in it is called Goong S (S for Se7en ^^) now. Goong 2 will have the original cast and be released much later next year...there's some battle going over the copyrights & stuff right now...but i`m looking forward to watching both of them! xD

Anyone see Over The Rainbow yet (starring Hwanhee from FTTS)? lol it's fast becoming one of my favorites xD
